    Default guild chest thief

    it seems there is a guild chest thief on argo ... seems to be going from guild to guild and emptying the guild chests be carefull of this player at the moment he is in fortunes child a level 42 guild lets see how long it is befor he leaves with the chest contents

    Got a request to join our guild a couple of days ago. Right after the person joined he/she asked if we had a chest. When i said that we did not the person left our guild.

    Was another name...

    I disagree that they are worthless, since they provide an easy way for guild members to make their extra gear available to other guild members. However, chest thieves do make the guild chests risky to use.

    BTW, Wardens of Honor was approached by this guy to join our guild. He left as soon as he discovered that we do not have a guild chest.

    Wow. Is this a new meta-game quest? Speak to an officer of a guild, gain access to guild and ship. Loot chest and leave guild. Quest complete. Is he a rogue? :P

    I'm sorry, it's low low but I couldn't help but be amused. I'm sorry that you lost your lootz and I hope you don't get in trouble for outing him. Thanks for doing so(even though we don't actively recruit), might save an up and coming guild the heartache of losing all their slotted, silver, planars etc..

    Can he be reported for griefing?

    Default Guilde Chest

    He had asked to join the guild I am in through another guild member. They had asked the in guild chat if anyone knew him. Only one person said they had ran with him and he did not impress them enough to warrant a guild invite. Then heard later how he had raided another guilde's chest.

    I could buy it, I had an officer(In my old guild) that never ran anything with us and sacked the chest everytime something was in it. I actually watched him when he logged on and sacked the entire chest, he than vendored it and logged off....

    My thoughts exactly.

    While this is a crappy thing to do... you guys let a complete stranger into your guild, what did you expect?

    Recruit people you like, and have run with and this will almost certainly never happen. I could leave 20 LDS in our guild chest and I could almost guarantee they'd be there at the end of the week.
