    Well, it might also have something to do with the fact that the forums were full of "Nothing but a warforged is worth playing" style of threads.

    Look on the bright side: WF are still good for certain builds (e.g., arcanes); while drow fans are still waiting for a good reason to make one beyond "looks pretty."

    Half Elves helped with that. They be ugly.

    At least drow can fill the 28-32 gap.

    Also noticed that in pen and paper, WF have a natural 'Slam' attack which seems neat, and perhaps a little easier to implement in the current DDO system than how it was before U14.
    WF can also wear armor in 4E, Healing changes heal WF, Don't have to give up a feat for Body types...

    If these were implemented at the same time the poison/disease changes were then it would have been less of an outcry from melee WF of I paid for a Ferarri and you gave me the keys to a Fiero.
