Deconstructing armor bonus

I did not see this listed in the 'known issues" lists:

We are still unable to deconstruct an armor bonus from things like bracers and cloth armor.

Has anyone heard anything more about this issue in, say, the past couple of months?

I'd have to try again, but I was fairly certain this is wrong for bracers at least (probably robes also), but what you get is divine essences rather than +x spirits. Items of armor are not treated as armor enhancements, but rather as an armor effect granted by divine effect, not sure why.

So you were able to deconstruct an armor bonus and get essences from it!? I have not been able to do this.
