Post 15.2 patch reincarnation working properly?

Hi,

This thread is to collect information on whether or not reincarnation is working properly after patch 15.2.

If you have reincarnated since the patch, please post here and tell us how it went. I am interested in all types of reincarnation stories, free/paid, lesser/greater and true.

If you have had problems with reincarnation please be specific when you report them. If you've done it without any problems, I would like to hear about that too.

What I am particularly interested in is whether any of the problems occurring before the patch still are, such as ED xp loss, tomes not applying at the correct level, getting stuck on the Heart of Wind, etc.

Lastly, if you are one of the people affected by the problems which were occurring before the patch, please feel free to update us all about what progress has been made with fixing your character.

I LRed today without issue.

I used a +1, was able to swap one level of a class out, and still retain my free LR.

I got all my tome bonuses when I was supposed to, and tho I am not back to 20 yet my EDs seem unchanged as well.

Since this thread, and others like it, have been quiet about post 15.2 problems with reincarnation it may be that the problems are fixed.

I reincarnated twice today and in both cases it seems to have worked properly. My main was a triple classed character at L25 with close to full ED xp.

The first reincarnation was a +5 LR. I was able to use my store bought heart instead of the free reincarnation, and my tome of learning and stat tomes reapplied correctly. I did not lose any ED xp; all my destinies were still at level 5 except DI at level 4 after the LR.

The second reincarnation was a TR and my main is now level 1 again. Learning tomes and ED xp seem unaffected, I can't tell yet if the stat tomes will reapply at the right time. I hope they do. I picked up the correct past life too, so no problem there either.

I'm still interested in hearing from other people who have have reincarnated in any way since 15.2, and also from those people who lost ED xp earlier on. It would be nice to be able to assume that the reincarnation process has a clean bill of health now.

The only thing which seemed a little glitchy was I'd get error messages when zoning into a new area say that I was unable to join that area's channels. Relogging after each reincarnation seemed to cure that.

myself and another 5 of our guild TR'ed about a week ago, currently we just hit 12 banking 13th, everything has reapplied correctly so far.... been an awesome run actually, and instead of grinding the pick of the quests with high xp/min, we've gone with a full tour on BB, just finished red fens, and about the only thing I can say about this one is the amount of xp around the place is huge, some of us TR1's are having to use 2nd toons to fill in gaps for our TR multi's to catch up the capping xp

I LR'd yesterday and only 1 +2 tome applied itself. None of the others worked. I used the free LR so maybe its that. LRing again in a week using one I looted.

Tried to use a +1 heart of wood today on my lvl 11 druid, i know i took all of the correct options with Kruz. When i get to char page it appears my free reincarn had been applied instead. Waiting on ingame support to see if they can do anything, even if it means removing that free reincarn. I don't want to have to wait a week to use my +1 heart.

I LR'd then TR'd my main again on the weekend. There were no problems with getting the right past life feats, no loss of ED xp, and so far (at Level 5) my tomes are reapplying correctly. Kruz let me use my +3 heart even though I haven't used my free LR yet.

I didn't have any unspent ED points, but the twists I have meant that two fate points were unspent. I also made sure that during the LR I took the feats needed for my ED abilities.

As far as I know there haven't been any recent reports of problems with ED xp loss that relogging hasn't fixed. At the same time, there's no positive proof that the bugs people were having will not recur, nor a commitment that broken characters will be fixed.

Reincarnated about a week ago. Tried to use a heart but got the free one instead. Had no problems anyway; all the tomes applied and no loss of ED's or XP.
