    Default SP GS question

    Planning my first item for my first life FvS.

    Will be SP item (I am not even lvl 18 yet and have not ran a shroud on him yet, but hey, never too early to plan).

    I am pretty sure Wiz VI does not stack with Magi stuff right? Or for that matter Wiz VII. So isn't it silly to make a +Wizardy VI, +50, +100 SP item?
    Because I will get an Archmagi item at some point.

    Why not just make a +50, +100 and add something else instead of the +Wiz VI? Like Heal lore.

    I know another option is Con-opp, but I dont think I like that either. And that comes with the +6 wis - a waste because I intend to get a +8 wis.

    Wizardry stacks with Elemental Spell Power, but not with Magi. A Wizardy VII +50 +100 will yield 300 sp in total, or 450 on a fvs or sorcerer.
    That which does not kill you gives you experience points.

    Make a SP Conc Opp googles. ull get 150sp +6 wis +10 Diplo. great for sp users. the conc opp makes it more ingredient heavy but well worth it. In fact heres the recipe: http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~delalle...&weapon=weapon

    Agreed conc-op is the way to go.

    Yes you will find archmagi eventually, bu that will be 100 more SP. end of the day that's not a big deal and means you could skip the archmagi and wear something that -is- a big deal. (Heightened/Maximized/Empowered/Quickened Blade Barrrier is ~96 spell points. 100 SP is effectively one spell.)

    The conc-op will give you SP/HP back when you get hit. The % is not terribly high but it makes a significant difference in my books.

    Also Greensteel is mL 12 for weapons, 11 for items. If you ever plan on TRing this toon, having +6 wis, +300 SP, +10 haggle, and SP regen on hit at level 11/12 is amazing!

    I also go with a hp conop cloak cuz its just that handy

    If you want Conc.opp, I'd plan to combine it with HP since you'll want to wear that all the time, and then have 100+50 SP on a swappable item with a useful clicky like haste or displacement (you don't really need to wear the SP item when the spell points are used for buffs)

    Something like this for wearing all the time: (you get the colored effects, click '"how do I craft this item?")

    Conc.opp is nice but does not proc all that much and you might want better +wis and +skill items anyway, so combining HP+Fort ("Min2") is another popular combination which gives even more +concentration than the conc.opp suggested above:

    personally i favour goggles with blindness/disease immunity (or whatever the + to saves is now)

    I like my conc-opp SP item. Conc-opp + a torc makes for some pretty effective SP regen when TR'ing and on EN and EH.

    one of the main reason to go for SP conc-opp as opposed to HP conc-opp is that the SP item also gives you +5 charisma skills (better haggle!!) oh yeah... and +5 exceptional UMD
