    Default Info please

I'm going to go with a melee druid with some spell casting and rogue skills on my current TR life.

can someone tell me about druids? ive read the wiki on them and Iunderstand they can't use stell armor or shield, but steel weapons seem to be fine.

ive mainly been a 2 weapon melee type, so im thinking of swinging a greatsword again this life. I know most of the druid spells that effect weapons won't work on it, but when I did a ranger life, it was a lot of fun.

also, what weapons can druid pets use? and armor? is it the same as arti armor/weapons? (which I haven't played or anything yet)

Druids have no weapon restrictions on their abilities. However, generally there are two types of melee weapons Druids use:
Caster Druids use Flame Blades, because these use Wisdom to attack and damage.
Melee Druids tend to fight in Animal form, where the type of weapon is not important, because the only thing that transfers is the magical properties. Since there is no bonus to using two-handed weapons, most will use a one-hander and shield, so as to gain the properties of the shield as well.

This does not mean that a Druid couldn't use a two-handed sword, just that they don't get any advantages from it.

Druid pets use Collars as weapons, same as Artificer pets, but can wear any armour a druid could, rather than docents.
