    Default Ticket update

    My problem is everytime I log in I have the exclamation point icon that my ticket is updated and I should open the help menu. So, when I do it, I have only the FAQ / Hints / Report a bug options, THERE IS NO ticket updates options, so how I could close a ticket?! Specially, that I didnt send a ticket in years, so I don't know what can I do with a phantom ticket... Any idea?

    I'm afraid I can't help with how to solve this, but I can say you're not alone. This exact same thing is happening to me, and like you I've not submitted a ticket in years.

    In my case, I can get to the ticket screen, and it shows the two tickets I did submit some 18 months ago, both of which are closed, and nothing else.

    It looks like we've got a brand new super shiny bug on our hands. Woohoo!

    Goto the Ticket screen.
    Click the all tickets button on there - it will show you ever thing you have done.
    The ones where GM' have responded have green dots by them.
    Open the green dots ones one by one.
    Repeat the above until no green dots.
    then next time u log in problem gone away.

    That did it for me. A closed ticket from May 2011 had picked up a "GM Response" and a green dot. And who says the GM's are slow to respond in this game!

    As long as clicking on 'Ticket updated' exlamation icon brings you to your active tickets page this will work - but what about poeple like myself and OP?
    When we click on the icon we get help/support homepage opened. There is no option to see active tickets or unresolved bug reports that we have issued in the past. All i can do is submit new ticket or bug, browse through faq and knowledge base but no of the available options bring me closer to the ticket page.

    As the result i keep getting [ ! ] icon on my screen for every character in my account and there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of it.
    And i'm scared to submit a new ticket about the ticket - it might trigger some existential paradox and the world will cease to exist (it's 2012 after all :P)

    This is happening to me, as well. I have no tickets that I haven't viewed since last GM response. Yet, upon every login, I get the exclamation mark.

    I have just been ignoring it. I'll file a bug report sometime, if the adventuring gets slow, and if I can manage to get the bug reporting tool to work properly without excessive and undue frustrations.

    Happening to me as well. Exclamation point icon in upper left (though the description says it is in the upper right?).

    Since I'm not "full service" eligible, I cannot access the ticket screen. Some resolution would be nice.
    The Office of the Exchequer. 1750 on all live servers via Pure pugging. Thank you very much to all who helped carry a gimp . (wayfinder was a soloist build)

    VIP yet my all tickets screen only shows the first 20 {if that}.
    Over Two + Years I've put in more tickets than that for a fact - There is NO second page though.

    I checked all the tickets marked Green - This made no difference - The Symbol is still there EVERY time I log in.

    Only answer I got:

    "Please note that if there is no “New Ticket” button on the Help Menu then your account is not currently eligible for In-Game support. You may obtain eligibility by becoming a VIP member or purchasing Turbine Points. If your account is not eligible, you may request advice from other players in the general chat channels or on the forums. You may also submit a Bug Report to provide feedback about a specific location that may cause players to be stuck; please note that Bug Reports are not a request for immediate assistance or support and will not receive a response."

    So, I hope, Turbine doesn't want to tell me that I should buy some TP to get rid off a silly icon from my screen!!

    Please, FIX this, it starts to be annoying.

    Well i'm not a VIP but premium - and i do see "New Ticket" option in the help screen. Still when i click exclamation icon i get no ticket list or ticket details it only takes me to the help screen.

    The fact, that i can't even remember what was the ticket about means it has either resolved itself already, or I have decided it wasn't that important after all if i have not followed up with a standard bug report.

    Would be nice if i could get rid of unwanted notification now.

    Same problem here. Checked all tickets and it is still there.
    A friend will bail you out of jail.

    Same deal.

    At least clicking the exclamation point no longer crashes my game though...

    You have to show all tickets and any with a green light you have to click on still not done on my main account as it has over 6 years worth of tickets showing up but my alt account stopped showing the alert after I did alll the tickets.


    It's a pain as you have to do show all tickets and scroll through for each one

    Maybe you didn't read the OP or all the comments below.

    Clicking on [!] icon takes us to the help/support main page instead of the ticket listings page.
    I am no longer VIP (i cancelled my subscription about a year ago in favor of being permium f2p) and most likely the information stating that 'your ticket has updated" reffers to a ticket that i've submited over 1 year ago.

    Since i no longer have access to online in-game support according to my current subscription plan, there's no way for me to read the updated ticket and either delete it or mark it as read to remove the icon from displaying on every of my characters.

    Please note - i don't really care to read the ticket (as i stated before - the issue from ticket is either resolved or outdated) - i just want the icon/notification to disappear!
