Hey was wondering. I won a True heart of wood from the lotto 2 weeks back. I won it on a mule toon that i will never play and the heart is BTC are they allways btc or is it just random and if they are btc they should change that. maybe unlucky or maybe this is lame. most of us have multiple toons including bank/mule toons and hit the select all button for the lotto. If they are all BTC that is somthing they should look into changing.

Same thing has happened to me a bunch of times... not with a Heart of Wood, but with other items I could have used. Lesson learned? I only do lottery on active toons now.

heh, same here. won a true heart but it was bound to my mule. lesson learned, some things are btc, some are bta.

I'll be happy if devs add an opt-out for the mules (and deleted toons), so that i can select-all on the right toons only. Quality of life and all that.

In the past I have won hearts that were BTC (have one sitting in my wiz's bank) but I have also won hearts that were BTA. Recently won a heart on a character, which I transferred to a mule for storage.

It varies each lottery and since I don't know which are BTC and which BTA I just enter all toons and if I get something BTC, a heart or anything else, on a mule I trash it and move on.

I do not play the lotto anymore because when I won something I did not get the item. A friend told me it is because I am not playing in USA. Does anyone know if I have bad info, they fixed this or is the discrimination still going on...

Are you sure it is not just a toon that is broken for myddo?
Toons that are not updating can't receive winnings.
That's what it says in the text of the lotteries.

There was a big discussion about this a while back. Cordovan even tossed around taking away the select all option, but the forum community agreed they would rather have mules and deleted characters win than have to select which characters they want. For example, I have 15 characters, and then I have 4 deleted ones that also appear, so I would have to pick from 19 characters for each lottery. He said at the beginning of that discussion that certain things like the 1400 TP True Heart of Wood would always be BtC in the Lottery. Things like the Hair Dye and the Astral Diamonds are BtA.

thanks for all the info every 1 much appreciated, i seldom play the lotto if its somthing i dont want. this is just another reason not to play it at all i reckon.
