Sorc DCs, effect on dps (boss fights)

You should try to bring that 10 DC lower Sorc in harder difficulties maybe. You will have tooons of fun with all those Evade 's on top of both mobs and bosses' heads.

Your equation leaves out when the low DC sorc gets 0 DPS on Evade, Evade, Evade. I saw soooo many evades until i decided to TR and change my DCs. Evade is very common and highly annoying. If you prefer to use only spells with no save then your argument is fine, but there's so many good damage spells that supplement your arsenal, DC are simply too good to ignore.

Well, I didn't exactly go out of my way to max my charisma on my sorcbot but it happened just by the very nature of DI.

Unfortunately as with any/most ED there is a lot of throw away points to climb the ladder; but once you get (or start getting) closer to the top you can do a reset and start placing those points into things that matter...most;y...there will still be a few trash points unfortunately.

I climbed the entire left side of the tree while placing all points possible into it. I also took all but the top two charisma options. I took the entire line of precise casting (which makes up for the fact that I do not ever take evoc focus on a sorcbot...too feat deficient). I took the entire Dragon Heritage and piercing spell craft.

First life I was hitting mobs for 2k-15k consistently. My Dancing Ball worked on all but EE mobs and the EE mobs spell pen didn't flash...it was the saves.

So, while maxing your DC on you sorc may not be needed, your DC should almost be maxed anyway or you threw your ED points out the window on (IMHO) useless garbage.

Dragonhide? Really? I'm a full on con WF Ice Savant sorc that has a 40 con and 700+ hp at lvl 25 first life.
Draconic Perception? ...erm...NO! Again...my reflex sucks so bad that I would fail it on a 20 in epic content and my spot is just high enough that unless the mobs are invised I will still get the blip...and I try to stay behind the agro-barb .

Now let's assume you made a ...squishy...reflex sorc (sorry about your luck here, but to each there own) then you're reflex is probably high enough that DP is almost useless for you and your con SUCKS so DH is useless for you.

Yes...I made some pointed jabs at drow sorcs <---what is that anyway...is that even real...I'm pretty sure those are just fairy tails meant to make fleshies feel better about themselves.
