    Default Armor to PRR

Maybe this was argued in beta, maybe it's a dumb idea, maybe I'm blind, but AFAIK this hasn't been brought up ever.

My suggestion is simple, add armor to PRR.
Heavy armor adds full armor to PRR,
medium armor adds 2/3rds of armor to PRR
light armor adds 1/3rds of armor to PRR.
no armor adds maybe 1/6th of armor bonus (from for example bracers or robe) to PRR

So if you're wearing a full plate that adds 20 armor class to your AC, you get 20 more PRR.

This way the quality of the armor matters as much as BAB and armor size. A +7 Planeforged Fullpalate would grant more PRR than a lowly masterwork fullplate. A +6 robe adds 1 PRR, allowing wizards some tiny amount of damage reduction.

    Thoughts?
That which does not kill you gives you experience points.

Though I agree with you that defense can use a little more oomph I don't agree with this. The PRR value of armor is what it is, the AC value is what it is.

But I do believe some "stuff" should add to the PRR value. natural armor should add to PRR, it's only a few points at the most. TWD feat should give more than the measly 5 PRR that it does at the cost of a feat, etc . . .

Some stuff like WF PRR due to armor type, currently my WF Stalwart with changed body style to adamantine soon discouvered that Adamantine body adds no PRR..so he ends up with has 85 PRR but if he were a fleshie he would have 150 PRR... Instead they got 10% fortification . pft...

WF were screwed by the current PRR system, not only do they suffer from healing amp hurdles, but add PRR fail, poison, disease(Repair does not get rid of these) and repair is not amped by healing amp. Effectively killed WF tanks.

Hopefully this gets addressed in future updates, til then I have WF pack mules and plans to TR to fleshies.
