Default Suggest some challenges that aren't timed

Timed challenges favor caster builds, and they are difficult for those of us with life distractions.

May I suggest adding a challenge or two that are not timed, and in and of themselves yield useful rewards?

I realize this is not as easy as it sounds, but it might be doable. A theme that worked off of positional or other advancement instead of a timer might be one possibility.

Default More potions and opther options based on "turns" rather than time

For those of us who have life distractions, who may choose to play flavor builds that are not casters or blasters, those who may be slower on the keyboard, and everyone else who might be at a disadvantage for things that are "timed"":

May I suggest additional potions and buffs for XP and Loot and Slayer boost and even resists be based on say, "one whole quest" or "one whole day" or "one calendar week" or "XXX encounters" rather than number of minutes?

In paper DND things were mentioned in terms of "turns", and although the DM had to make sure things didn't get ridiculous, there was no "rush", room for bio and family breaks, room for "slower" people to have an equal chance, etc.

There already are non timed challenges in game, they are called quests.

Seriously, remove a timer and only difference between a challenge and a quest is type of the reward. Personally, i don't like challenge style ingredient grind.

I see where you are coming from. Occasionally my daughter will come to me with a major homework questions. Grouping with friends will eliminate the problem there. "gotta afk" is acceptable among friends.

These are called "challenges", and they are relatively short. 15-30 minutes on most. I think it would take a major overhaul of the system to eliminate timers, even on select challenges.

Just not seeing how this would distinguish challenges from quests. If you own the challenge pack, you dont have a daily limit on how many attempts you get, so there's really no difference between questing and farming challenges.
