Default PETITION New music score in the crafting hall

Pls Turbine consider a new music score for the crafting hall. My ears are starting to bleed every time this eery church-organ score begins to play.
As a crafter I spent a lot of time in the crafting hall and usually I enjoy the scores of the game but geez, that one is a violation against all organs, not just the ears.

So PLS do another or just play the other one, pretty pls.

Default As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!

Welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, well. To what do I owe the extreme pleasure of this surprising visit? What you got back home, little brother, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.

My droogs and I sit in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. It sharpens us up and make us ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

And afterwards, when it has been a wonderful evening and to give it the perfect ending, I need a little of the Ludwig Van. Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it is gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It is like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.

One thing I could never stand was to see a filthy, dirty old drunkie, howling away at the filthy songs of his fathers and going blurp blurp in between as it might be a filthy old orchestra in his stinking, rotten guts. I could never stand to see anyone like that, whatever his age might be, but more especially when he was real old like this one was.

Viddy well, little brother. Viddy well.

I muted all in-game music, and it's improved my overall gaming experience tremendously - from the Crafting Hall to Water Works.

Seems like the OP is the kind of player who enjoys the in-game music from the games she or he plays.

I dont like that bgm either, I was very sad when it played during a fight against Harry, it was heartbreaking.

The crafting hall music used to be a single piece of music (that worked very well, because it was unobtrusive and easy to listen to for long periods of time). However, for whatever reason, they added other pieces of music to play after the crafting hall music, which I in agreement that it was a wrong move.

personally I don't need any music in the crafting hall but it is annoying to have to go into options and tune it down just for 1 place.

My personal favorite is the gnoll villages in vale of twilight.

I have a headset that has a volume control on the cord. If opening the options is just too much of an exhausting effort, you could invest in one of these and just disable your volume with a roll of your thumb -- then turn it back up when you leave the zone. Also comes in handy when you are partied with a whisperer. Or when you want to drown out the wife's incessant yammering.

....dont tell her I said that...

How about a petition that Thaumaturge staffs don't drop in every single chest in the game?

I would sign that and encourage others to do so!
Farm astral diamonds in game. I've been playing for only a year + a bit but I already have 2 astral diamonds. 3 more and I'll be able to do something with them.

    ^This

The basic crafting hall music is very nice to hear all the time. That sudden high tone is what breaks everything.

I want DDO to be a better game. Those are my personal suggestions on: Ammunition, Archmage, Combat Stances, Deities, Dispel Magic, Epic Destiny Map, Fast Healing, Favor, Favored Enemy, Half-elf Enhancements, Monk Kensai, Monk Stances, Past Life, Potency, Potions, Ranger Spells, Summons, Tiered Loot.

Thing is I can't here the teamspeak peeps in that time. And they are the only ones who make boring crafting times bareable.

+1 for an Eric the Viking reference!

It's just that one bit of overly synthesized 8-bit laser show nightmare muzak that needs to go away. The majority of it can stay.

I like the crafting hall music. It reminds me of the "Mr. Crowley" intro.

The original score was fine, the others were good because they were rare and playing them everywhere kind of spoils it.
The score from the vale bats and the amrath theme, which were also added to the portable hole.
They were good on their own, playing over and over isn't good.

Also, altough off-topic, the music switches too often, even right after loading, which makes a noticeably freeze for us people that are prone to lag.
Up to date drivers helped, but is still there and turning the volume off doesn't seem to make the game not load the music.
(it'd be the least worry among the other lag types anyways)
