cannot feat-swap dillettante

Just hit level 20 today and tried to feat swap at fred, but my dillettante doesn't even show up in the 'old feat' list? Is this where I submit a ticket?

Did your dilly feat rely on using a tome? I vaguely remember reading something about a bug fix for the situation of taking one dilly at character creation but then swapping for the one you want once you can use the tome to meet the requirement for it.

imho u can only swap for new feat if u met requrements for it at the point when the original feat was taken. So if your new dilletante feat qualification is dependent on tome usage, u wont be able acwuire it as the original was taken at lvl1 and lowest tome applies at lvl3.

I talked to cetus. He couldn't swap INTO a dillettante. I can't swap OUT OF a dilletante. However I meet the requirements even at level 1.

A guildy of mine said you aren't supposed to be able to swap dillettantes unless you LR, that this is a new change implemented as a Helf nerf.

No no, I WAS able to go to fred and place my current dille in the "old feat" box, which then showed me all the other dille options I qualified for in the right panel.

The issue I had is that I no longer had a dille appear in that right panel that I qualified for solely via the tome I had eaten.

In other words, the dille's I had show up on the right were only the ones I qualified for due to my initial stat distribution, and NONE showed up because of the tomes that I ate. This wasn't the case an update ago, since I was able to start my dex at 10, grab a placeholder dille; and then swap into the dex dille once my +3 dex tome has kicked in.

Correct, along with some other feats such as toughness

Edit: I had used a GR and a stone of experience on the toon. Now that I think about it, both feats I can't swap were taken before using the stone (levels 1-7).

did you take epic toughness? If you did the toughness feat doesn't show up, which really stinks.

i used a leveling stone on my fighter as well, and the feats I have taken during that are still good, if that helps ya lol.

I have the option to switch my dilettante and I just went to see Fred this morning. Not sure why your dilettante isn't even showing up, you must be a fake h-elf.

He mentioned this above, saying he reset his enhancements first.

I had this same dilletante feat swap issue and had to use my free LR to fix it.

Now I can't swap out my quicken spell feat. I'm also a Helf.

I've given up on fixing my character before I TR. Fred really needs a going over by the devs. I've decided to finish up my lit II then TR to fix my build. I really wanted to cap out the EDs I want to twist but I guess I'll fix my build first. I really want the DPS I'll get by swapping in the right feat.

Oh well at least I can learn from my mistakes and get my character built perfectly next time without any feat swaps.

Long story short... Feat swap broken? Confirmed.
Race: Helf
Class: Druid
Feat: Quicken (also dilletante previously)

For me quicken doesn't show up in the list of feats to swap out. The rest of my feats do show up. The feat I want to swap IN is listed. Quicken is not a prereq for anything I have and no enhancements I have depend on it. I even reset my enhancements first to be sure.

No. To resolve it you must LR.

Tomes still do not count for meeting ability pre-reqs when swapping dillies. I would like to know if this is a bug or WAI.

Whenever you swap out a feat, it takes in account the LEVEL you are swapping out at and what tomes apply at that level. Dillante is a level ONE feat. There are no tomes that apply at level one. So when you swap out a level one feat when you are level 20, it is still using the stats you had at level one (base created stats) and does not take into account tomes that only apply at later levels.
