Those Purple Dragon Knights really do look out of place. If I wanted to play a game with cartoonish over exaggerated features I wouldn't be playing DDO.

Purple Dragon Knights started as Death Knights in the Lords of Dust. Some of them then appeared as those Silver Flame paladins hanging out around that crack which formed in the harbor. Then, they showed up in Eveningstar. What I'd like to know is how their gear made into the Tower of Despair years before they showed up in another universe. They all bear a resemblence to Barney Rubble, IMO.
On Argonessen, you may call me:
Schpeik Nottingelse - Kriegge Adanedhel - Hildegar Brightblade
Proud member of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre "Deus Lo Vult"
Real life is a worse grind than any MMO.

Thanks for the serious answer, Dunklerlindwurm! I'm genuinely unsure whether they're supposed to be humans or half-orcs. You'd think, if they were all half-orcs, it would be mentioned. If they're human, then I wish PCs could have a larger variety of body types within races the way NPCs apparently can.
I was wondering about those guys too.
Technically that character-model showed up long before MotU. You can see one of those large-men in the House K Crafting Hall, and as someone else mentioned its also used in the Harbringer of Madness chain.
BEFORE YOU ENTER REMEMBER THAT THE TOMB IS GUARDED BY TERRIBLE MONSTERS AND MEN WITHOUT MERCY.
