That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

There is something periodically very astray with the quest timer.
It told me I completed Wiz King in seven minutes the other day. I did try to screenshot it to verify - but I closed the XP report by accident after recalling, and before I could hit the screenshot key.
Either the game's clock is getting glitchy, or a(nother) really weird bug is afoot.
Definitely a buggy clock. I've been seeing a lot of 0 minute completion times in some quests I've been running. That would be cool if I were super-zerging them, but if Haste runs out, you know it was definitely longer than a minute in there, and I've had some quests that took at least 10 minutes register as 0.

Yea the quest clock is way off on short quests. It's exciting to see 0 minute completion times, but it is absolutely wrong. I started timing a certain 0 minute quest and found that they were about 3 minutes in reality. I haven't tried longer quests.
It must have been my Pirate Curse! I'll try to replicate later. I had the XP window open waiting for the timer to blow up the last boat...

This is not new.
Few months ago someone mentioned it could be related to combat, like the quest timer would start from the moment you fight a monster. No fighting => "computer zero" that is also "computer infinite". I'm just relating an idea someone had about this bug, it's probably not the exact reason.

I hate when someone rage quits 4 years into a quest.

I don't know if I still have all the screenshots, but we zerg-flagged someone last week through all 3 chains (Eveningstar, Underdark, Demonweb) in a record total time of 9 minutes in-quest for the lot. Well, that's what the experience reports added up to, and who's going to argue with those?
Funny though, ship buffs don't seem to last as long as they used to, I'm sure we had to refresh during that time :/
Crime in multi-storey car parks: it's wrong on so many levels.
Quest timers are bugged, they start counting down from the first mob killed, and aparently glitch out when you don't kill anything.
Thats why you see so manny 6 year long stealthy repos.
Yesterday night I finally approached Delara (Delera ?) to get my rewards.
The quest timer said to me : 3,423,347 minutes I had played that quest.
I did a screenshot of this because of this discussion here.
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"
