    Default Existing game dungeons as PvP zones?

    I have just read the last issue of Chronicle and some pages related to it. The article on PvP by geoffhanna and some comments on it, made me think of the matter. What great fun would it be if some (or all) deadly dungeons could have been chosen as Pvp areas on entry window.

    Well, there is the PvP dungeon in game. Its called Blown to Bits, and this is the place where party members have great fun blowing each other all over the place while fighting monsters. I experienced some of the best death matches there, and laughed my heart out every time. It usually starts when your guildy or friend activates explosive behind your back when you are afk, or shrining, but mostly a couple of seconds before party is about to open chest. We all know what might happen, but somehow it happens all the time

    Such thing would be awesome to turn deadly dungeons into deadlier, by including some non-artificial AI mobs Could you imagine Prison of The Planes with all prisoners released to roam all over the place along with 5 uber twinked nasties hunting you around? Or The Pit at the appropriate level? Could you imagine that boring grind during Mabar festival turned into one great battle zone with killed players turned into wraiths and dropping colletctables upon death

    From the pile of pvp threads that pile up, using quest instances is one that would be a decent suggestion and not too dev time consuming.
    It's often paired with the suggestion for friendly fire as in PnP, but note that's a different thing, better keep these threads simple.

    Now this is a type of PvP that I would enjoy!


    I have suggested something similar before.

    I would like to see two-party dungeons, complete with monsters, where the teams have to achieve certain goals for completion.

    But yours is ok too.

    Large areas with many places to ambush oponents, would be fun.

    A few of the dungeons have cool things like explosives and minefields to play around in as well.



    "pit" PvP is very boring to me.
    But the arenas are a lot more fun IMO.

    Actual dungeons would be even better.


    They do need to fix PvP so that all player abilities (Stealth) function though.


    The way to make PvP fun for me is to give me a chance to outsmart my opponents.

    Apart from that : Why not ? I mean, having 1 dungeon solely for PvP wouldn't be bad, I think. And of course it should be marked/marketed like that ...

    So, this would mean that everyone who goes in knows what to expect ...

    It could be an Arena as well ...

    I'm all for putting PvP in private instances.
    While we're at it, please make the free-for-all pits their own instances as well.

    No time should be spent by developers doing anything with PvP other than removing it from the game.

    Yes please. Put them out of the way, and their chat even more out of the way.
