so... whats stopping you from deconstructing it? +12 items give a good amount of essenses. and nightmare isnt what it used to be so its not that useful.

take a better look at most epic weapons now. I deconstructed about 20 yesterday that all said bound on equip.

    Epics Have always been BoE.
Just since U-14 has random loot some times comes up BoE.
Not what is the deciding factor as to which items will be or not be.

I believe anything with a teal border binds on equip.

basically, its any unique combination two of either prefix or suffix, plus one of the other. there are a good number of different types that are btcoe

all of these should be btcoe AFAIK
Chaotic - True Chaos, Cursespewing [1]
Desert Sand - Flaming Blast or Improved Roaring, Slicing Winds
Erosive - Greater Stone Prison + Disintegration
Forceful (+4 effect) - Force Burst, Telekinetic
Night's Grasp (+3 effect) - Negative Energy Spike, Maladroit
Orderly - True Law, Strength Sapping
Pandemonium (+4 effect) - Screaming, Thundering, Roaring
    Riptide - Tidal, Frost
    Searing - Blinding Embers, Incineration
Scintillating - Shocking Burst, Stunning +10
Wintry - Icy Burst, Freezing Ice

    [edit] Weapon suffixes
    Blasphemy Evil Burst, Unholy Burst
the Crusader - Good Blast, Absolute Law (required trait: Lawful; UMD 26-28)
Debilitation - Weakening, Enfeebling, (Stunning or Shatter or Vertigo or Tendon Slice) +10
Destroyer - Absolute Chaos, Evil Blast (Required trait: Chaotic; UMD 26)
Divine Light - Pure Good, Brilliance
The Icy Depths - Tidal and Icy Blast
    Lacerating - Slicing, Bleed
Mauling - Slicing, Bleed and Maiming
the Rebel - Absolute Chaos, Good Blast (Required trait: Chaotic; UMD 26)
the Sun's Fury - Flaming Blast, Brilliance

    I would still deconstruct it.

Nightmares is useless, even on a scimmy.

Agreed. And the lacerating doesnt help it that much. If it were a nightmare seeker +10 it would make a decent off hand weapon.

    More value deconstructed.

    Yeah disenchant it.

It's BTCOE because of Lacerating, but Nightmare doesn't synergize well with Lacerating so the weapon isn't of any use. (Nightmare was insanely powerful pre-nerf but is now weak).

"+12 items give a good amount of essenses. and nightmare isnt what it used to be so its not that useful."

I don't think that you understand the system of deconstructing at all.

It is not a +12 enchantment that is a +12 potential with many enchantments.
You could get a +5 liquid,
+1 body, +2 body, +4 evil. So not really worth even deconstructing. You might get 30-40 lesser essences.

Each enchantment that is +6,+7, or +8 will give more than what we got prior update.

in my experience +6 give more essences than +7 for whatever reason but +8 give a crapload. I average 100+ lesser and about 6 greaters.

A few updates ago this was changed. Total + value is a factor now.

Don't believe me? Try disenchanting +1 Holy weapons and also +6 Holy of Electric Storm (or whatever) for the 'Holy' part. You'll get somewhat better results from the latter (of course you should d/e that hypothetical weapon for the electric storm instead but doing this will prove a point).

This was added at the same time as 'You recieve X PP from recycled materials'.

Anything with lacerating on it seems to sell really well right not.

It's the main suffix I look for while leveling my Druid.

Lacerating on low level weapons is great for twinking. Also remember, if your gear would be btcoe and btaoe, the bta part takes precedence. I got a +1 acid greataxe of lacerating from a Fens end reward that is bta now so I can transfer it around. I'm waiting patiently to get an icy burst ritual on that one.

I'm sure i'm not the only one wondering something about these teal bordered, deconstructable weapons. That is, will they be able to be icy bursted. I suspect yes, since they can go into a crafting machine. I'm expecting a fairly huge demand for icy burst kits this winter. Guess i'd better start toughening up my fingertips now.
