Cormyrian Redscale: Why?!

I always disliked the Cormyrian Redscale light armor look. The backpacks I liked. However, the 'darkness' of the armor was terrible!. Not only could you not see if it was redscale but if you had the Epic Redhelm it stuck out like a soar thumb. I made one anyways assuming it would be dark forever.


Epic Redscale Robe: (Note the colors. Redhelm matches)


Cormyrian Redscale Light Armor: (FEMALE HORC(armor made 10 days ago) and FEMALE DROW(armor made 60 days ago))

^ You can clearly see that the Female Drow wearing the Cormyrian Redscale(light armor) made 60 days ago is dark looking! It wouldn't match the redhelm!

Cormyrian Redscale Light Armor: (FEMALE HORC(armor made 10 days ago) and MALE DROW(armor made TODAY!))

^You can clearly see that the Male Drow wearing Cormyrian Redscale(light armor) made today is normal looking! It actually matches the Redhelm!


What's with the stealth fix? It isn't retroactive. Please make it retroactive! I want my Redhelm to match!

Something to note here: the second drow is a male character. Also there was a bug at one point with the old epic light redscale gone dark on a lot of it on female characters. Looks like the bug cropped up again on the new armor.

no matter what I used to think the redscale armor was the best looking in the game but that jumpsuit looking **** is HORRIBLE I cant believe that I would have to buy an armor kit to cover up some redscale blecht

At one time switching on or off 'display armor appearance kit' in your inventory panel affected the 'lightness' of some armors. It's a long shot, but worth a try.

Hmm this could be the issue. Seen a male dwarf wear heavy armor(wasn't dark). Also a horc male wear medium armor(wasn't dark). I dont think Ive ever seen a female wear Corm redscale(other then me and the drow from in SS).
