Default Impact Items and wolf form

Is impact supposed to affect crit range on a wolf form druid? If so it's not wai.

Figured since IC:Bludgeon does work, so should impact items though I know that impact wouldn't stack with IC. I haven't taken IC yet, and tested this for around an hour with impact on sheild, impact on club. Keen doesn't work either.

No crits on any rolls below 19 :-/

Impact doesn't stack with IC: Bludgeon

Also, according to the desciption for the form change, at least winter wolf does slashing and piecing so I would imagine IC: slashing would increase the crit range. I don't really fight in wolf form that often so I can't tell you for sure though.

    IC: B is what works.

The OP said they don't have IC yet, so they were trying to use impact or keen instead, and it seems to be not working.

I tested the crit range enhancement items before taking IC Bludgeon. Sorry I didn't make that clear. They didn't make a difference. I'm aware of how keen/impact work related to the feat. They don't do anything if you have IC.

I assure you that IC:Bludgeon increases threat range for winter wolf form. I have the logs to prove it Crit profile for winter wolf form with IC:Bludgeon is 17-20/X4. A guildie had it on good authority that this is how it worked so I tried that first. I did a lot of testing before and after I took the feat to confirm it did what I thought it should.

A side note to wolf form is that it doesn't have off hand attacks of any type. You can't TWF in wolf form and you can't execute shield bash attacks. Blocking has the normal effect a sheild block has with a sheild equipped.

I've heard good things about handwraps and monk splashes so I may try that next life.

Are you sure about that? The multiplier seems off.

This. Should be 17-20/x3. Shield in wolf form are awesome! Just take both shield mastery feats, and twist Legendary Shield Mastery. 15% doublestrike and tons of PRR.

    Default Shields on druid

Shield on druid in wolf form is very worthwhile to use. At lvl 5 you can craft a seeker +8. If it has a large guild augment slot you can add 25% stacking fort. That means 100% fort with a med fort item at lvl 5 and Seeker +8. If you have a large slot scimi you can have seeker +10 at lvl 5 (large guild augment Seeking +2 stacking with shield). +10 seeker at level 5 is very noticeable (especially with reaving roar and the domino effect)

At present lvl 17 I still prefer the +8 seeker on a +5 shield. Clears up seeker slot, and +8 seeker makes a big difference with X3 multiplier, even at lvl 15+. Have yet to cap and mess with twisting in Legendary Shield Mastery, but that sounds pretty solid

    RTFM on Khyber
