Avast maties... The pirates be landlocked after runnin aground on some problematic game logic. We do be preppin the mabar pumpkin patches fer halloween though (thar be upgraded plunder fer epic folk comin).

Tolero has posted that Crystal Cove is essentially broken... so no events until Mabar in October.

Plus I hope they would add new gear or rotate the available gear each time the cove comes out.

They are working on The Cove.

Tolero didn't actually say the Cove was being worked on. We can only hope that this is the case.

Like many others, I'm quite disappointed that they didn't consider it important enough to get it working for this fall. It's been a while, and the game could use something to bring some players back.

I agree completely. So much so that I posted another thread asking for the Cove.

I have in the past found the Cove much more friendly to my build and playstyle, and I like that you can find things in the wilderness area and not just the "main event".

I do hope they are working on the Cove and bring it back as soon as possible!

Mabar seriously needed new items introduced that will make people other than monks and cleric wanting to run it. Tho with its soul-crushing lag and stupid mechanic most people probably won't bother anyway. We will see. If the new items are interesting it may change.

Mabar seriously needs less grind and BtA instead of BtC. Otherwise, forget it, I can live without the gear, whatever it is.

What Mabar really needs is new gear, and updated old gear (though they don't have to be in the crafter to be "Fixed") like the "Epic" robe of shadows... +90 on null? seriously? It's Epic! you can get +90 on a lvl 18 sceptor or what not. Plus Mabar has the only "Poor man" epics in game (or challange epic's for that metter) that Do not have Augment Slots, this really should be a MUST to change. I Would love to get a Green or Blue slot on the robes so i can finialy drop my minos and just wear my Epic Strom 24/7.

Mabar is the worst Event this game has.
It should be totally dumped.
But Turbine will work on the Junk events and not the events that are what the Players really want.

LoL ya I liked waiting 3-6 hours for a mucked up shot at the Dragon.
Was in a good group and every one ended up different instances yes sure fun.
So much more fun.

i personally dont like risia games. i do enjoy cove and mabar. i would like to see new items added and less times for dragon spawning. at least on the cove it was opening quite often. As for the dragon it wasnt very often you got to fight one. Since the gear is also limited. Most dont want to run it.

Yes if it ran more often and better selection of gear it may be more fun.
Hunting the mobs was okay.
Just that dragon fight was a waste team got split up and the lag was very bad.
Don't much like Risia Jester is fun.

Love the Cove far more than Mabar, which I again love far more than all other events.

While I am displeased that there will be no Crystal Cove this month, I have to admit that 2 grindy events this close to each other makes little to no sense. With some luck Turbine plans to move Crystal Cove permanently to February?

Anyway, I am now looking forward to Mabar. Agreed that it is laggy and repetitive. Laggy and repetitive. Repetitive I say! But I do like the fact that parties are split over instances: the ultimate form of pugging, you never know who you will party with. And it is good to see how quickly people adapt and start coordinating in such a case.

Oh yeah, and it would be nice if we got some nice xp when killing the ethereal dragon this time.
