Default Endgame Gear and Spell Power Impulse

    Hi guys.

I'm currently working on the endgame gear layout of my firstlife WF Arty. Its a quite traditional build, focused on ranged DPS and evocation DCs.

My problem is, where to put impulse spell power for my blade barriers, force rune arms and tactical detonations. If the wiki is correct, the only sources of impulse spell power in the game right now are either robes, alchemical weapons with a mystical tier 1, weapons and the holy symbol of lolth. Afaik, impulse does not appear as a random stat on clothing or jewelery.

Is that correct? Does that really mean i HAVE to use the symbol of lolth?

Impulse also comes in the helm slot. On my arty I am currently using an Impulse(108) helm of Alertness.

i have an impulse 108 of alertness hat too. pretty sick but I hardly wear it since PDK favor set bonus is so nice.

But yeah helm is the best place, or on the your rune arm itself as some of them are craftable (up to +66 or +68 I think with Cannith Crafting).

Ah, tyvm, thats helpful. Rune arm is imo not an option for impulse, the bonus is too low. Im trying to get >100. But a hat might be a good idea.

Ok, now to extend my question, what would you propose as an endgame gear layout for such a WF arty?

Im currently trying to include a 3 piece abishai set, because afaik it also affects rune arms.
The epic ring of the stalker looks tempting as well.
A GS HP item is mandatory, ofc.
Tharnes goggles might be a nice addition, and an Adamantine Cloak of the Wolf could be great, too.

Windhowler Bracers would be an easy +2 attack, +2 dmg, but im not shure if its worth the slot.

    Any suggestions?

Check out the build in my sig for a gear layout. I'm going with the adamantine cloak of the dragon which gives 94 spell power, +2 DC's, and stealth strike.
