    Default cannonfodder is reincarnated

    well, lookout newbies..

    some fun facts

1- let me know if you are new and I will try to make it entertaining and not ruin the quest for you.

2- when I say don't follow me, don't..you will die.

3- when my lfm says something in particular it is a fact, not a discussion.

4- elite, once, and done...see ya.

5- if you are a zerger and there are no newbs in the party, please feel free to zerg to your heart's content.

    6- I don't care if you die and cost 10% xp...really, it doesn't matter.

7- no long waits to start, almost all the time the quest will be underway.

8- buff, don't buff, heal, don't heal, zerg, die, jump up and down, run through traps, I don't care as long as we have fun.

9- halflings must wear clothes at all times, no exceptions

10- no dwarves who like to frolic please, do that on your own time.

11- no roleplaying unless you understand safewords...

figured I would add some notes to my runs.

1- I usually do level by level elite, finish all 1st level and then move to 2nd...except for special things (like finishing korthos).

I did all the korthos quests, one time, on elite.. Finished being 3rd level.
I really liked the quests and the little things they have changed over the years to make them better for new players.

having ship buffs and good knowledge of the game made it pretty easy so far.

the quest I had trouble with on elite was redemption. Trying to keep lars heyton alive was impossible without finally hiring a hireling.
I used a ton of cookies, dancing spheres, wails, etc...yet before they would start dancing a swing would always happen and he never lasted past the second wave...

after 5 attempts I got a hireling and healed him.

He has almost no hit points and that kind of quest should reverse scale his points to denote number of people in party. boo on his low hit points.

The only other odd thing was the green arrows always pointing out people I had already talked with. I think a new player would be a little lost on why the game says to keep talking to the same person for no reason (even in the quest logs)...

all in all, easy, fun, and on to the level 2 quests in the harbor and market.

Would be great if you could knock out Heyton and then drag him back around by his work bench.

    well, almost 6th level now..

1- there must be a new AI where they like to circle you...however in endgame margurite I encountered a quest ending little bug with that...

apparently if I backed into a corner by one of the fake doors where mobs come out, all the undeaded acted as if I turned them and ran away.

Now, the tough part in this was the ghoul/ghasts guys who ran away and turned invis. I could not see them...I literally had to run through 4 levels of the quest swinging hoping to find the last one...then I found him, under the stairs of one level.

2- too much xp...had to not take any more pots and not really go after optionals unless they presented themselves...still doing 3rd level quests and almost 6th level...wow.
I even skipped stealthy repo and the baudry series (impossible for me to solo that elite, part 1, with keeping the box alive...lol)

I had to not do the wilderness areas either as my levels were going up too quick.

kind of a bummer to see kobald assault still having no end. That was always a bummer to see new people unable to get out of that quest due to constant attacks.

hey, I did not die yet...close a lot, but not yet...whoo hoo

I've got a screen shot sitting around showing Amalgam attacking Heyton. Was perhaps the greatest moment of that TR life, realizing that the "friendly" robot was siding with the Sahuagin. Oh and we couldn't kill Amalgam and just had to watch in slow horror as Heyton was murdered.
