Artificer /Shadow Dancer ED

I have been leveling my Artie through the Shadow Dacer ED and am at the fourth tier. I dont see shrouding shot doing anything for me? Im not gaining any shadow charges. Does it not work with repeaters? I can see that being the issue with and enhancement line that should be customized for Mechanics. I really dont know if I want to contine if its not working correctly but cant see what I am doing wrong.

Any Advice would be appreciated.

Has anyone leveled an Artie through the Shadow Dancer ED? 6D6 SA/ DDoor/ Int enhancements/ Executioners/ Evasion and everything else. Sounded fun to me.

Another thing that openly stinks about Shrouding shot on a repeater, if you donot have a bolt loaded, you loose your shot and go on timer.

I have an artificer with Shadowdancer maxed out. When the expansion came out, I was gunning for Shadowdancer. When i actually tried it, I wasn't impressed. The synergy looked good on paper, but I ended up being a Shiradi Champion instead.

I have a maxed shadow dancer arty. I love it. With shadow for and displace and evasion (with a 45-50 reflex with insightful reflexes) I'm pretty indestructible. It's sick. All that sneak damage with a drow pifwafwi or whatever and ring of the stalker is intense it's like 30-40 damage a shot. I get lots of charges and consume is awesome coupled with an energy burst twist.

The gear and build make SD really nice for certain quests. I love it on EE where surviving and staying power are huge.
