Login Server Error

After downloading toady's update I can't log in. When I enter my name and password in the launcher I get a Login Server Error. Here are the details

About 3 maybe 3 1/2 hours ago they said they were taking the servers down for 15 min, then at some point after they said they did not have an ETA on when they would be back up.

all the servers are down.

someone broke some doohickey and it was erroneously replaced by a gizmo which broke the gameplay. so until they get a new doohickey in place, we are all just twiddling our thumbs.
