Default What do you prefer and why?

I am working on my second life as an assassin. my first life I took deadly shadows as my capstone, mostly for the added Int. that it gave. This life is going rather quickly and I will soon be looking at that point again and i am wondering if cheat death would be worth it.

so just wanted some opinions from others on which they prefer and why.

    Thanks

prefer deadly. kill faster less likely to die. If you build yourself well and have halfway decent gear you wont die anyway.

Had cheat death for a long time before they had deadly in game. hated it. Every time where it would of been really nice to work it never did.

granted this is from the same rogue who can roll 10 times in a row to open a lock needing a 5 and not get anything higher than a 3.

Chance of not dying if you screw up is just too unreliable, especially since you need to have the ability to make yourself not still "just about to die" in order to particularly benefit from it.

The short version is that you will use deadly shadows in nearly every quest and every fight. You will hardly ever use Cheat Death, even if it is big when it does work.

Yah I have been thinking a lot of the same things. Since it does not give a percentage on the proc rate for cheat death to go off i have been rather hesitant about it as i assume it is so very, very low. The only reason i even have been considering it is that a rougue that was in my party with my ALT had it and saved the day from a comedy of errors that almost wiped the party.
