Epic Goggles of Time-Sensing

Hey,
I know that Arti's have a nice boost for wands and clickies. The mentioned goggles give me on lvl 20 2mins each clicky. What happens when I make them epic? Will they increase the time on it or stay on 2mins? Not sure if I should make them epic on the Arti or better another class - if the 2mins duration stay then it would be a waste.

The duration will stay the same, but you'll get 5 charges of haste. I believe the non epic goggles only have 3 charges. That's an extra 4 minutes of haste. So on a pure arti, you'll have 10 minutes worth of haste on those goggles. Versus 7.5 minutes for a non arti...I'd say that's worth making them on the arti over another character.

Correct.

It's a caster level 15 haste clicky on epic, thus a pure arti gets an extra 30 seconds per use over anyone else.

I wouldn't make them on the arti if you had an alt that could use em. Here is why:

-Pure arti gets 2:00 haste off of ANY haste clickie. Haste clickies are rare but findable.
-Another class gets just 30s off of most clickies and 1:30 off of the Etime goggles.
-The base item is VERY easy to get, and is BTA, as are the shard/seal. So it can be made on alts easily.
-A non-arti class benefits from the 1:30 hastes vs 30s hastes more than the arti benefits from 5x2:00 hastes vs 3x2:00 hastes. And you can get random clickies for as many 2:00 hastes on the arti easily, while those would be merely 30s hastes on alts.

it should be noted however that the epic time sensing goggles are quite nice for epic trap skills with search and spot +20 for those rare occasions that's important.

For the +20 skills the epic spyglass is in almost everyway superior for the arty. +2 Int instead of +2 wis, stackable UMD boost to crank it even higher, and a green slot for +2 luck on top of all the other goodness

Some of us didn't grind out the spyglass. I use +3 int focus.

Word. Tried to explain that to an arti who pulled the shard in the raid the other day, but it was not getting through and he took the shard saying his arti would get some extra bonus...which he didn't and wasted the shard that other people needed.

he pulled it. it's 5x/day which aren't that easy to find, you have to get lucky.

Also the +20spot/search makes it a nice swap in for finding traps. you can't fault him for that
