Wink Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter *done* Suggestions?

Just finished reading this quirky little book, I have to say I enjoyed it for what it was...a silly alternate history book.

I did enjoy reading it, and now have trouble thinking of Lincoln as anything other than a arse kicking ax wielding stove top hat wearing vampire hunter.

I guess I will actually go pick up Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies. I read the original classic and am eager to see how the author places them in the book-world.

Other than that possibility, any suggestions for some decent reading? No genre overlooked or discouraged...except trashy romance....or trashy romance with an orc that makes it fantasy.

I would love to read something that is an interesting take on an old idea or is a wholly new idea in itself.

    Suggestions?

If you don't have a suggestion I will settle for a childish insult. I.E. Trampolines were called Jumpolines till yo' momma came along.

If all else fails, just say what you will have for lunch.

    Monster 1959 by David Maine

Going to read this and a S. King book of short stories.

Apparently it is about a 40 foot monster named K. The product of American high altitude nuclear testing.

It is "covered in fur and feathers, gifted with unusable butterfly wings and the mental capacity of a goldfish."

I think it is similar to king kong in story...sounds like it.
