Help needed for thesis :)

Well hello ladies and gentlemen since i am a F2P player i cant post in the off-topic session, so if any GM see this i would be glad if u move it to the off-topic section the thing is that i would like a help, your help. If you have 5 minutes of your time i would be glad if u spend it answering this questionnaire for my thesis. I know that some questions may disturb you or make you thoughtful but i need around 50 samples more

I remember playing a mmorpg called Dungeons & Dragons Online.... but I don't quite remember playing a MMOG called Dungeons & Dragons Online....

Also, I believe most ddo players (not all) have some form of life.

So, DDO will probably ruin your sterotypical averages. I.E. most people I know in Thelanis play after work (or play around a work related schedule) and / or are house parents taking care of kids and afk a lot. And, a lot of retirees....

This, in no way, means there is a lack of younger gamers in ddo. Just a lot less compared to WoW or some other mmos where your average age is 10-20 yrs old

If that's for a thesis, you may want to proofread some of that. Things like using "intent" as a verb rather than "intend."

In the OP's defense, English does not appear to be his primary language. The thesis is for a degree at the university in Kavala, Greece.

I am not certain how much value an online poll can be in this situation. It would be too easy to fabricate results and your polling sample is not exactly well-distributing. You are relying on self-reporting and the small number of people who are actually willing to take to the survey just because you asked nicely. I don't know if you can draw any reliable conclusions from that, especially for the purposes of a thesis. I don't know what kind of background the OP has in statistics, but this seems to be a flawed approach from my point of view.

Hahaha well thank you first of all if anyone answered it. Second yeap i know its intend and not intent but at the moment its not in my primary goal to check vocabulary mistakes. As for the MMOG thing i can say that MMORPG is a part of MMOG because DDO is a game. Another thing is that i dont want only the positive sample that may occur i also want people who arent addicted and have social life.

Just a tip, from someone who did a psychology degree, admittedly a few years ago.

Don't use words like addiction and terms like "people who have a social life".

This isn't a miscommunication in language, this is you using potentially offensive terms.

Is it an addiction if I play 60 hours a week? Yes if I am bunking off work and ignore family and friends. No if I am bed bound due to a disability and DDO is my main social stimuli and maybe even a physical/ mental excecise.

Also, where else are you doing this survey and what other research are you doing to support your thesis? 50 samples, from 1 website is going to give biased results and on too small a scale.
