Smile Let the ones you love...know it!

    Hello friends,

Today I lost my mother. Complications from a surgery she had a week ago. She was with our father when she passed. Very unseen event. Very fast....but our family had always and will continue to do something. We always tell each other we love one an other, anytime we talk on the phone or on the computer..it is almost silly, but you never know.

We always communicate the special things we learn from one another. My mom taught me how to respect woman and work hard. She was a single mother of 4 and we always had everything we wanted or needed. I had had this discussion with her a couple of weeks ago. We all feel sad of course, but we are also content with knowing she knew how special she was and the important role she had in our lives.

I just want those of you who can, to call those people you love or who have had a great impact on your way of life and let them know. Someday it may be to late, but knowing you always let them know how important they are..well can make these types of surprises...although sad...manageable.

Love you BABS....Wishing you are surrounded by Prada and Gucci wherever you may roam!

Sorry Arlo.......I am happy you have a good support system.

I lost my father last year........it was not really a sudden thing......but I kind of know how you feel.

I hope I don't sound really lame or out of my depth here.....but I really like Yoda's thoughts on losing a loved one.....

    Miss them do not
    Mourn them do not

Be happy for those who have become one with the force.

I honor my father's memories by all the great times we had together and everything good he gave to me in life......I do not regret that he is not with me in the form he once was...and I know his marvelous soul lives still in this universe in an even grander form than before.

Wishing well to you and your family

You have my deepest sympathies. She sounds like she was an amazing woman, and I will make it a point to call my own mother tonight in honor of her.

Deepest sympathies for the loss of someone very near and dear to you, and I'm sure she'd appreciate this tribute to her.

For my part, I am showing love to some in-laws today by treating my mother-in-law (who is a current cancer patient), and a few others to a special theater show today. MIL had been looking forward to this show ever since she was first hospitalized and it was something that has kept her going through all the chemo mess.

I agree with letting your loved ones know how much you appreciate them as much as possible! Money is replaceable, your time with them is precious.
