Class feat for level 8 WF arti

What class feat should I choose? I am going onto level 8. Remember, I am a WF.
I can choose the following. Im not listing what I've already taken.
*Adamantine Body
*Augmented summon-3rd likely
*Empower spell
*Enlarge spell
*Eschew materials
*Extend spell
*Heighten spell
*Improved fort
*Maximize spell-2nd likely
*Mithral Body
*Quicken spell-1st likely
*Skill focus
*Spell focus-4th likely
*Weapon focus-ranged

Feat choices don't happen in a vacuum. Without knowing what your build goals are and what your stats & feats so far have been, how can we tell you which future choices will help you reach your build goals?

Is spell focus available to you? I generally regard it as a priority for general feats simply because I didn't think that it was available as a bonus feat.

Take Quicken Spell because Flame Turrent will be your best aoe spell for quite a few levels. Without quicken, it can get interrupted and/or get you killed because of its very long casting time.

Don't ever take extend and improved fort. I highly advise against weapon focus ranged, eschew materials, mithril body, and adamantine body for various reasons. Enlarge spell isn't too useful as well right now.

The Spell Focus: Evocation feats will help your runearm and your main spells at endgame.

that said, quicken for flame turret is a great choice

I can confirm that spell focus is not an option for the arti class feats. Ron's character planner allows you to take it as an arti feat but this is not possible in game. I know this because I recently made exactly this mistake.

@ OP, as unbongwah said, without knowing your build goals it is difficult to recommend anything. That said, (/shameless plug) check out the build in my sig for some ideas.

Take quicken. Popping out a quick turret is always nice at mid levels.

Quicken sounds good. Empower and maximise are generally only used for one spell, and you won't hit that for some time, so if you're going to bother taking them, take them as bonus feats later on. Just remember that you'll want to use your 12th level slot for Imp. Crit, and your 15th/16th level slot for Imp Precise shot if you have the Dex.

Says the person who was using Empower and Maximise regularly at low level. Do as i say, not as I do! :-)
