I hope that got your attention. Actually, I think it's cool and sophisticated to be bilingual. But since I am none of those, I only play the game in English.
And since it sometimes takes a long time to download and install updates, it's a pain to wait through "Downloading FR Loading Screen 5" and "Downloading DE Loading Screen 6", etc.
Can't the installer select these screens depending on the current Language setting? If not, can you add it as an option in the Prefences?

I'm German, using the German-language UI with an English-languge server (it's Khyber) ...
Me, I'm always feeling as if I was travelling between both worlds ... Worst is to get into German-language internet forums again after the play ... Because then both languages tend to intertwine ... spelling, grammar ... But I assume that this is a problem everyone knowing two or more languages has ...
On the other hand, I'd like to see the French-language loading screens as well, they are at least downloaded, too ... I'm just curious how things are spelled there ... Objecting to "FR" and "DE" screen download is racism?
I don't know what France and Germany look like on your planet, but on this one I think you might need remedial word definition training. I know all the cool kids have been running that word into the ground since 2008 but there's no reason for us non-cool kids to join in.
(on topic, i agree that this is a non-issue and at most a very minor annoyance unless something else is going gravely wrong)__________________

Seriously, that has not been my experience;the FR and DE download messages always seems to take a substantial amount of time. Maybe when U15.1 comes out I can time it.

I'm thinking it's just a slower connection when you download the updates.
Do you have anything else going on that might be limiting your bandwidth?
Sorry, MsEricka, but French and German are not races.
They're countries with separate languages.
Sure some may not all be the same race, but what's that got to do with the price of tea in china?
Not everyone in the USA is of the same race.

I would have to agree that disliking foreigners is not racism, but more likely xenophobia, or what in many places
passes for patriotism. That said I'm assuming the OP is guilty of nothing more then maybe poor taste in choosing
his title for shock value.
To respond to the subject at hand, I have to admit I also often find downloading the different language
screens to be annoying especially since my client seems to decide to do it at random times as opposed to just
when updates hit. I say this as a foreign dog, that knows some german but feels that that's not reason to
download splash screens that never show up.

With all due respect to the OP and his opinion, this thread is a waste of forum space. I object to the time it took my browser to load it. This is like complaining about the drag the weight of a license plate adds to a car: insignificant.

On initial launch it can feel like the first time is taking longer than it should and the loader is playing head games with you. Before you start having double vision and your fingers turn as cold as ice hovering over the keyboard awaiting password input, remember playing the game isn't all that urgent. Calm down and don't be so hot blooded.
