    Default mobility versus shield mastery for AC Tank

    Heavy armor wearing Purple Dragon Knight set using a Levik's Defender and Epic Chimera's Fang in most Tanking situations.

    The description for Mobility states increases max dex bonus by 2 but shield mastery increase blocking DR by 10 with tower shield.

    TWF when not in tank mode.

    should which feat would be better?

    Do you not have enough feats for both? Also, you may be looking at outdated info, as a lot of the defensive / tanking feats got changed in U14. The Shield Mastery feats now boost your PRR & double-strike chance.

    I don't really have room for both feats. I know I have a lot of feats to play with but not really wanting to give up any of the ones I have. Maybe I need to take another look

    I'd say both double strike and dodge/MDB are worth it.
    What feats you are not willing to drop for those ? My twf stalwart has some 'non standard " stuff :-)
    Dodge, Mobility, PA, CE, gtwf, imp crit, Khop, Toughness, improved shield mastery, improved sunder and imp trip, stunning blow, skill focus intim and umd. At 21 i took bulwark, 24 undecided. Math doesn't help of course but undecided about cleave/overwhelm crit until I see some MATH.

    I also came to the choice is between the Shield Mastery or Mobility

    I decided to take Shield Mastery and craft Mobility on a Trinket. This way I get the benefit of the Shield Mastery which has Doublestrike while holding a shield even when I don't need an AC boost. With Mobility on a Trinket I'm able to switch it in to gain bonus to my Defense when maxing out AC/Dodge is most important.

    I think you should focus more on one weapon type ? You have dragonmarks for Chimera but you don't have 2handed feats. Weapon specialization and khop suggests you are switching to kensai 2 for some stuff, but then you don't have PA, ANY tactics or human versatility. Imp sunder and human dmg boost are big race advantages imho.

    how about crafting mobility on a trinket and swapping the mobility feat for improved Shield Mastery?

    this is poor for 1 feat imo

    fighter past live feat doesn't really do much for you either.
    +2 itim
    +1 to max dex(if you can reach the dex needed ya it's slightly usefull otherwise not)
    +4 to hit (this just isn't necessary these days)

    the only thing your gaining of any real use is +4 itim...doesn't seem to make it worth two feats.
