For all the budding graphic artists out there -
If you are sick and tired of MSPaint being your tool of circumstance, you can download and use GIMP for free (It's not as bad as it sounds out of context). GIMP is the open source equivalent of Photoshop. It's what I've been using to create the images in this thread. I can highly recommend it for all your 2D image needs.
As a bonus and limited time offer (not really, it's all free forever) 1001Fonts is an indespensable resource for locating just the right font to go with your insipred creations. All the fonts downloadable from there are 100% copyright-free.
Plus, don't forget Google Images. If you can't find it there, it doesn't exist.
I hope these resources help eliminate some of the frustration with knowing what you want to do and not being able to do it with the tools at hand. Thanks once again to all those who have contributed. I'm truly grateful to everyone who helped make this a Hall of Fame thread.
