Default Looking for a TWF and a THF 28 Point Build

I am looking to have both a TWF and a THF Dwarf Barb, I am looking for a 3 builds for each to test out. I am looking for one that is basically straight dp, one that is straight endurance and one that Has both endurance and high damage. I am willing to put all 6 Chars up to 10, and see what I like best. Then post all my results here.

You wont really get a fair idea of the advantages and disadvantages of these builds by just taking them to 10 - I am guessing you would need get to 18 at least.

In any case, at level 10 the THF Barbarians will be far ahead in DPS than the TWF ones, due to the fact that TWF characters need all three relevant feats to off-set the high to-hit penalties (In any case, the Barbarian class is better for 2HF due to their inherent bonuses.)

Shade's post on Barbarians is here:

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=298161

while a recent discussion on Barbarian builds in U14/15 is here:

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=387368

A basic THF barbarian build would go:

Max STR, High CON, rest in DEX or INT.

Skills: Balance, Spot and remainder in Jump. 2 in Tumble at start.

    MAX DPS

    1 - Two Handed Fighting
    3 - Power Attack
    6 - Cleave
    9 - Improved critical: Slashing
12 - Improved Two Handed Fighting
15 - Greater Two Handed Fighting
    18 - Great Cleave
    21 - Overwhelming Critical
24 - Stunning Blow (Can take this earlier if you want.)

    Balanced DPS/Endurance

    1 - Two Handed Fighting
    3 - Power Attack
    6 - Cleave
    9 - Improved critical: Slashing
12 - Improved Two Handed Fighting
15 - Greater Two Handed Fighting
    18 - Great Cleave
    21 - Overwhelming Critical
24 - Toughness (Can take this earlier if you want)

    Endurance

    1 - Toughness
    3 - Power Attack
    6 - Cleave
    9 - Improved critical: Slashing
    12 - Two Handed Fighting
15 - Improved Two Handed Fighting
18 - Greater Two Handed Fighting
    21 - Great Cleave
    24 - Epic Toughness

I'm not sure what you mean by "endurance", barbarians are pretty much all glass cannons. Your only real control is how much meat you can wrap the glass in. If you notice, Jsbeer didn't list any enhancements... because there are no real options there. As a barb you take Frenzied Berserker, as a dwarf you take the Axe enhancements and Dwarven Spell Defense.

The only way you could really mitigate this is with Epic Destinies maybe, anything before that is going to play pretty much the same: see mob, hit mob, starting around level 10 yell hjeal.

You should understand that the real power comes at 18+ for a barb, so you won't have an accurate evaluation of any barb builds. I'd suggest capping two barbs. 1 horc/dwarf for 2hf and 1 helf-rog dil/dwarf-daxes for twf. Swap feats as neccessary(test out sblow/imp sunder, or lr for splash builds). Barbs aren't different in builds besides twf/thf, some differences with splashes but they're all 95% the same.

An average barb will have trouble. But LD has innate ability 25% dr actions, tactic dc boosts, and lay waste. Any barb has uncanny dodge. Get good equipment(hamp, tactic boosts), get sf favor, and you can run sf pots and use trip/sblow. Makes for a very resilient barb, lategame.

    Legendary Dreadnought destiny

    EDIT:
Also, 28 pt twf is going to be difficult, even with tomes. If you can lvl going for a +2 tome, then use the free lr when you get a +3(at lvl20ish or below, don't do it after getting a significant amount of destiny xp, bad bug right now).

    for twf 28pt helf:
    16/18 str (helf/dwarf)
    15 dex (+2 tome at lvl7)
    16/14 con (helf/dwarf)
    08 int
    08 wis
    08/06 cha (helf/dwarf)

can free LR into(once reading +3 dex tome, lvl11 or above):
    18 str
    14 dex (+3 tome)
    14/16 con (helf/dwarf)
    08 int
    08 wis
    08/06 cha (helf/dwarf)

Can also GR to make it a 32pt build.

    thf horc/dwarf:
    20/18 str (horc/dwarf)
    8 dex
    16/18 con (horc/dwarf)
    8/10 int (horc/dwarf)
    8 wis
    6 cha

(+2 tomes as you acquire them, dex tome is necessary for twf)

    Feats(for both builds):
    3x 2hf/wf
    1x power attack
    1x imp crit: slashing
    1x cleave
    1x great cleave
    1x toughness
    1x overwhelming crit
(1x rog dil feat if helf)

I suggest splashing 2 fighter lvls for the twf since the capstone isnt that great for twf, end up losing +2 str/con from mighty rage, +2 str from capstone, 1/- barb dr. can make up 1 str from fighter enhs). If you do, grab Improved Sunder and Stunning Blow.

Epic toughness is excessive once geared decently, you'll have over 1k hp anyway.

    Skills I suggest:
    max intimidate
~5 jump (will have more than enough str to have a decent jump score)
    2 ranks into tumble
    rest in balance
    then spot or whatever else

    horc enhs:
    toughness enhs
    horc power attack
    horc power rage
    extra action boosts
    str enhs

    helf:
    toughness enhs
    heal amp
rog dil enhs for more sneak attack dmg
human versatility (racial dmg action boost)

    dwarf:
    toughness enhs
    tactics
    con enh
    spell resistance

    barb:
    prereqs for frenzied berserker 1/2/3
    toughness enhs
    con enh
    extra action boosts
    1ap in sprint boost

    ftr(if splashing):
    str enh
    haste boost 1
    tactics if you want
