    Default The Real Drow

Why have the Drow in Eveningstar not the Fly Spell, the Darkness Spell and the other cool Stuff ?

I demand it for the Enemy Drow.

Fly is not a Drow racial spell-like ability.
I believe you are confusing it with Levitate.

But who wants to rely on the ranged people to do everything when Drow raise themselves up above the melee when they get in trouble?
Don't think we need that can of worms opened.

IIRC, 3/3.5 drow don't have levitate anymore. I believe it's just darkness, dancing lights, and faerie fire.

That's crazy. Never mind combat, the drow *needed* levitate for getting around their cities! Read the Drizzt novels (if you can stand that pollyanna angst ridden only-Tyr-knows-my-pain poetry-in-silver-pen-on-black-paper main protaganist, anyway), it's impossible to travel around Menzobarranzen without levitate at will or a seriously awesome climb skill. And I don't think the matron mothers are going to wait for you to shin up a dirty great tower when they summon you for duty.

Stupid WoTC. That's as bad as making becoming a Drider a 'blessing'.

However, on the OP's point of giving it to monster drow in DDO... no. Even air elementals don't get to fly or levitate in this game, so a niche enemy like underdark drow (who are the only ones who should get it, regular eberron drow are surface dwellers and therefore aren't staurated with magical radiation which is what gives them their snacky powers in FR) certainly shouldn't have any favours done for them.

Plus, it's a low level spell for the purposes of traditional casting, so it would be quite hard to justify players not being able to learn it. And they can't, because it would break the game engine - there's a reason they capped the jump skill, you know.

    FR Drow already have those.
Since we're only able to create Drow from Eberron, those amenities are a moot point.

Not sure what other Monk weapons you may be referring to.
    From the Official Wizards SRD:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Monks are proficient with club, crossbow (light or heavy), dagger, handaxe, javelin, kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, shuriken, siangham, and sling.

The only interesting ones IMO are Javelin, and Nunchaku; maybe Siangham if I can get someone to infer what its' purpose is for Monks.
