Default Got an email saying I would be credited 500 TP.

I got an email right after I made my account. I'm going to paraphrase the email here, since I can't attach screenshots and it's all images.

    Welcome to DDO!

We've credited your account with 500 Turbine Points.

Use these points to customize your experience as you begin your epic adventure!

We recommend the following items to get you started

Level up fast with the SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE ELIXER!

Try your hand at these DDO Races and Classes

    Drow Artificer

Visit the in-game store to find more items!

    ================================================

Now, normally this wouldn't bother me, except Turbine points and things in the DDO Store don't mesh well, and I would have had to spend 20 bucks to purchase either of those items listed without those free points that email promised me. With the points, 8 bucks, not such a huge deal for a first purchase. (I have since dipped in for two payments of 8 dollars and I love my Monk).

I sent in a ticket a few days ago (25th, I think) and even replied to it with an email looking for any info they might need to get any sort of response. I didn't attach pictures of the email, but for all my google-fu I can't seem to find any information that this is legit other than the look of the email and the fact it came from Turbine.

If anyone has any info about the promotion that I haven't yet got, or suggestions as to what I can do, I'd be most appreciative.

well from what im reading in the e-mail, it sounds as if those TPs should already be credited to your account? You can easily check that in-game via the DDO Store.

And if you are VIP, ergo have a subscription running, you are eligible for 500 TP every month.

    Hope that helps

I am not a VIP subscriber, and I checked the email, there are no asterisks saying terms and conditions may apply or anything like that.

When I checked the store history, it showed my account was credited 50 points, which leads me to believe there was a typo or that was for favor or something.

The only TP I have recieved is for favor and the 2 purchases I made.

50 sounds more like a monster manual deed than anything else... unless maybe you hit a larger favor point?

I'm out of ideas at this point.

There was a promo recently, not sure if it's still active, that new f2p accounts would receive 500 tp's for signing up.

Email was from August 20th, I'll see if I can find a newspost about it.

Couple links for reference. Appears the promo ended July 9th, so this may not be related to your email. I couldn't find anything official in the news archive on Steam.

I think I did already, but the first ticket I don't think I had purchased anything yet, so the CC info thing scared me and I didn't do it under Account/Store support.

This time, ticket sent to the right place, along with a screenshot of the email, we'll see where this goes.
