    Question Grouping with another wizard / sorcerer

    When your in the group with another wizard or sorcerer, what spells can be used at the same time? I play in a static group and will be playing a multiclass wizard with a pure wizard for a couple months before we TR. Basically, I'll be the lower level (non pure) wizard. I don't want to overwrite anything our main wizard casts.

    From what I understand, spells don't stack even if cast by two different people. For example, if they cast firewall and then I cast a firewall in the same area, only my firewall will work.

    I will be the only one casting Death Aura and Acid Rain and I believe they stack with anything other than themselves.

    So, which spells stack well for two wizards working together?

    2 casters rarely impede each other unless one player casts something that cancels out what the other cast, such as web + fireball, or firewall + icestorm. But anyways here are some combo's I feel fun to watch:

    1. Acid rain + firewall, or acid rain + icestorm

    2. Web / dancing sphere + acid rain / firewall / icestorm

    3. 2 playes spamming AoE's (fireball, acid blast, otilukes, cone of cold, chain lightning) always works and will never impede each other

    4. 1 player does acid rain / firewall / icestorm + the other use single target spells (scorching ray, frost lance, finger of death, polar ray) to kill whatever escapes or whatever is most dangerous

    5. Wail / circle of death + wail / circle of death (that is, if there are ~10 mobs around, or if neither of you have overkill dc)

    6. Single target DoTs stack

    Careful with Gust of Wind....it will blow away a lot of spells....not many people use it tho....so it's usually not a problem.

    I've seen a few casters use Air Ellies though and that's always funny.

    I remember an epic run of Last Stand (Back before epic casual, normal, etc) where the caster kept *****ing about an Air Ellie blowing out his Disco Balls.

    Turned out it was his Ellie...

    Dip more into your inefficient nukes. With two casters there's less urgency to conserve SP, it makes the quest go faster, and it won't hurt anything the other caster is doing because NEVER CAST FIREBALL EVER FOR ANY REASON.

    If you are both Pale Master wizards, you will benefit from both Death Auras, which is pretty sweet.
