    Default Deathward potion

Ok this time my only grip is with the new potions. Ok awesome its at the cleric trader. *** why does it take druid commendations at Cleric trader? it shouldn't be at that trader then. move it to the Druid one or at least change it to clerics.

    druid trader
    Barkskin +5 min level 1 12 mins
    Restoration min level 4

    cleric trader
Deathward min level 18 20 mins-takes druid commendations Not cleric.

There are deathward potions now? Are these only as turn-ins? Or can you get them with plat?

    Turn in commendations.

Unbound so can probably find on AH.

1 commendation, and taking druid ones at the cleric trader sounds a little bug-ish

That's a shame, plat would sell like hotcakes. I suppose at some point people might not have anything else to use commendations for tho.

its great that they gave us something else to use for the commendations. my only problem is in my first post. Come on most of the potions are very useful. 2 min haste. great on a melee if no arcane or bard are around.

    Default Mabar

You can get these during the event with mote turn ins as well, which should be coming up but...they're BtC. Not sure of the ML if any, will check later.

The potions are incredibly useful. The time investment to get them is not commensurate. Are you really going to ransack the chests in the King's Forest and the Eveningstar quests just to get them? That's just an insane amount of play required.

No, these are here because eventually you will have all the trade-in loot and have nothing left to spend these commendations on. You might as well have a useful consumable that you can keep using them on.

As for the OP, well yea maybe that is a bug. Report it I guess.

Gloomy potions of deathward are most certainly not bound to character, I make a point of it to make at least 500 every mabar to use during lives and store all of them on a mule, they don't last as long (only 10 min), but you can start using them at level 4.

The other way is to carry 4 or 5 visor of the flesh render guards. I believe they are only 7 minutes but rarely have I had to use more than 3 in a quest and they recharge.

I'm just happy you can actually get some new potions in game instead of being ddo store exclusives like cure crit pots. Small victories count for something I guess. Having new consumables available in game and not in the store is a trend I'd like to see continue even if they are not necessarily plat buys.

i really love the idea of being able to use potions from the traders. its a great way to spend your extra commendations. Now that you can trade them in. Its even better. I love that too. I'm hoping we see more stuff added to the traders as time moves on.

Nope, not bound at all. I used to carry these and hand them out on my bard whenever I was called to heal a quest that required deathward.

Seems like I'll never get that stupid dusk heart shard.

Is it one DW potion per commendation? Or a stack of them?

I've been waiting for Mabar lol only have a few 100 stacks of DW pots left. 1 comm for 1 pot tho is pretty rough but atleast it's an option.
