    Default Caster greensteel items

So what are the necessary gs items for sorc now? Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember that it used to be blindness/disease immunity, cha skills +2 50sp, cha skills +3 100sp con opp goggles. Second item (after cleansing) hp +10 con skills +1, hp+15 con skills +2, hp+20 con skills +3 triple earth guard bracers. Are these still the best gs items for a sorc? What other ones are good now? Which should I craft first? Also if you have any miscellaneous gear tips for endgame fleshy sorcs, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

I agree with the goggles. Good item to have with conc-op. The bracers I would never swap out too many good bracers out there, but regardless where you slot it I'd make it a Min II for the heavy fort over the earthgrab guard.

Fleshy Sorcs: Grab the Bunny hat from the DDO store. It's a cosmetic item so it doesn't take an inventory slot up and gives a +3 competence bonus when wielding a scroll/wand.

Craft an invulnerability of Life Shield item for lower levels. The constant HP gain will really help. Even better craft this on to a robe with a Large Guild slot for a stacking 160 Spell Points. (80*2 for a sorc)

Farm a Vibrant Purple Ioun Stone for 400 extra Spell points and you'll be sitting pretty at level 5.

If you have the mats make a +6 CHA +1 exceptional +2 insightful conc-op weapon. This will proc separately and additively with your goggles. (note: 2 conc-op jewelry items will not do this, and 2 weapons will not do this; only 1 weapon + 1 item)

The torc is amazing. Get and love it.

Blue Dragon Scale is quite handy to bolster your disintegrate spells and force spells. With your main element never settle for less than major lore and superior lore at later levels.

the House C challenge has amazing items that net Major Lore + 90 spell power and with Masterful craftsmanship go as low as level 14. These are pretty much the best in slot at that level. Fire, Acid, Cold, and Electric all have a version.

I read somewhere that the bunny hat no longer gives that bonus? Also, what slot should I put my hp gs item if not bracers? I am level 18 and I plan to stay at cap for the long haul of ED. The ioun stone comes from which quest in IQ?

Not making a statement as to where to put it, but I would go for a Mineral II HP item instead. In addition to +6 CON skills and 45HP it would also give you heavy fort and a 3x per day stoneskin clickie. Stoneskin might not be that useful on an arcane, but the heavy fort can free up a slot.

By using the Mineral II item you could do a helm and then use the spidersilk robes at level 22 to get your toughness along with wizardry ix (225 SP), resistance +6, concentration +15, potency 72 and cha +8 or insightful cha +3.

I'm not sure who told you it doesn't work, but give them a stern glare for spreading lies. I use the bunny hat everyday. It works as soon as you equip a wand or scroll a buff appears.

I found my helm a perfect place for my Min2 HP item. It was an upgrade from my minos. If you have the Epic Helm of Frost waiting for you then shuffle min2 elsewhere.

Ioun stone comes from the End reward in Dreaming Dark, the final quest in Inspired Quarters.

I was reading on the forums that the original bunny hat (when it came out) did and still does give the UMD bonus, but thr item in the ddo store has recently been edited to not give that bonus.

A helm looks like the perfect slot for me. Thanks for all the replies... Now I just have to figure out how to get a spidersilk robe...

Could you link where you read that? I've just bought one to test this and it works like the other ones I have. Give the UMD bonus. It's not something that is a bug or an exploit it gives you a specific buff with a unique icon.

I read it on this thread: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=389585

    The post by JOTMON.

However, I did buy a bunny hat, and it is working fine for me. I have 90% heal scrolls at lvl 18 with it, will have 95% at 19 without any equipped items. Only thing is, should I even put a point into UMD at lvl 20 since it will make it a .5 and therefore give me nothing??

No, do not leave a skill at .5, make it even. And each level through the epic levels will give you +1 to all skills.
