Default How beneficial is it to max a destiny before you TR?

So, just hit 20 on my wiz. I'm planning on doing at least 3x pls on wiz, perhaps more into fvs if I'm really feeling it. I don't want to buy a true heart of wood- given that they're about $20 right now if I would do 6 pls that would be $120 over time and that doesn't appeal to me. So farming epic dungeon tokens is in the mix.

To the core question: given first time completion and bravery bonuses, is it significantly easier to max a destiny on a life with no epic dungeon clears? And if so and you were trying to farm as many destinies as possible for fate points, would it be more efficient to say cap a life, level to 25 getting destiny exp, and then TR? Burn out is a consideration if the process is too repetitive. Given that this is my wizard's first life his gear isn't great (haven't completed a single raid with him) but the first TR seems to give you a fairly hefty benefit so I would probably stay at cap longer on life 2.

The best way to get a maxed Epic Destiny (or even more than one) is to do it on your first life. This is because on a first life you can easily hit 20 while AVOIDING any quests that have an Epic component until you are level 20 and talk to the Fatesinger to activate your epic Destiny.

You can then get the first time Bravery Bonus and minimize the repetition penalties by running all the available Epic quests as few times as possible (two or less runs is best, more might be needed) to get XP capped, although you should hold 23. After you are XP capped at 3 million Epic XP, then repetition penalties no longer increase, and you can run Epic content as you like.

As a result of this somewhat bizarre system, it is best to avoid running any really good XP epic quests more than twice if you want to take advantage of farming more destiny XP after you get to 3 million XP. Note that hitting 25 requires 3 million XP while a destiny only needs 1.9 million to fully unlock. So you will have one destiny fully unlocked and 2/3 of another one done by the time you hit 25.

So here's a followup question then given that information- I use your system of getting to 23 and holding, then cap a destiny and a half (or so) as I reach 25. At 25 I TR and then re-run to 20- will I get BB/ streak on those epic quests on the 2nd life, or will it remember my completions?

Each TR resets all your quest completions, so you will get bravery again as appropriate.

So I guess (finally)- is it more efficient (or enjoyable) to run BB/ streak completions 20-25, or to run quests at 23 (25) for ED exp?

It is far better to run BB from 21-25 on Epic Hard if you can (Epic Elite is not doable unless well geared and with a High-level Destiny already) since quest repetition stops once you get enough XP for level 25.

If you can't run Epic Hard, although in a group this is fairly straight-forward, then just run Epic Normal and then Epic Hard when you have the gear/destiny levels. After you have run all the Epic quests twice (once on Epic Normal and once on Epic Hard) then you might need to accept repetition penalties for some quests to get to 25.
