Equipment Hunting for Lvl 16

Hey guys my Artificer (Lvl 16) is horribly behind in equipment set-up having only the stuff the stone of xp gave him and some hand me downs from my main who recently TRed so I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions for equipment to go for both raid and non-raid.

I'll post my actual load-out when I get home, just hoping for some suggestions

Hi i woud recomend for you:

Black dragon light armor <- not so hard to get now, you do few runs, trade some scales and get it.
Tira splendor <- just put rare hunt lfm, ppl often join for other loot, even if you dont get runearm, you can trade it in chest for other things.
Tor runearms < - you can aquire it in proces of farming scales.
Necro 4 helm (toughnes, heavy fort) <- just for taps, fairy easy to get.
Other than that you can go for random gened stuff: +6 to int, dex, con, str (to carry items)
for trincket cheap one is dusk heart (or dust?) some hp + misschance, aim for bloodstone/ioun stones later

Ok so I got a chance to log on DDO so here's my current equipment loadout (and some alternatives)


Weapon: Hellfire X-Bow
Rune-Arm: Flame Warden
Armor: Demonic Breastplate (+5 Adamatine Breastplate of 10 Fire/Ice Resist)
Cloak: Cha+2 Cape & Cape of the Roc (Mostly for Feather Fall)
Gloves: Dex +2 Gloves, +13 OL Gloves, +13 DD Gloves
Belt: Ogre Power Belt + 6
Feet: Surefooted boots (+20% Strider, +10 Balance)
Head: Spiked Turbine (+3 Deflection AC/ Resistance Saves)
Trinket: Cunning Trinket (+50SP) / Dusk Heart (+20 HP/10% Blur)
Wrists: Ethereal Bracers (Ethereal, +1 Insight AC/Saves)
Goggles: Goggles of Perception (+2 to-hit, +10 Spot/Search)
Neck: Golden Cartouche (+3 UMD)
Rings: nothing really...got a few but alreadu covered by other items (ie. Feather Falling ring)

For your feats, get empower and maximize for your Blade Barrier. Gear wise, you need to the following:
100% fort
+6 stat items in con, int and dex
GFL
striders
Featherfall
waterbreathing
Armor I can't help you as my artie is a WF and pretty much wears a deathblock docent permanently for the moment.
you'll need need better then a +10 spot item if you're doing traps on elite at that level.

The Hellfire Xbow is pretty bad at 16th. Get a friendly crafter to make a couple unbound shards for you, and make a Holy of Bleed or <something>burst of bleed (or pure good). ML wont be a problem as you will not need a "+" enhancement on the crossbow (your summoned bolts will take care of that)

Heh I'd LOVE to get my hands on an Acid Burst Heavy Repeater of Vampirism, don't think I could afford it though.

Oh and I did take Maximize since Quick Draw is bugged right now, I unfortunately don't have room for empower. Speaking of which is there ANY sources of increasing Repair Amp? (hoping it will be part of master maker and/or in the MM "Tree")

The Silver Slinger repeater from the Harbour chain isn't bad and has ml 16. The Spare Hand belt from the Cannith Challenges is a good Disable Device and Open Lock item.

This gearing up is meant to prepare for the underdark so I won't be doing those quests until I'm ready than I will join my Static group and we'll all experience the new content together...definitely something I'll want though

It binds to account so you could always see if you can pick it up on another character.
Other Cannith challenge items you might want to think about are the bracers and trinket.

So I just got my wind howler bracers and Minos not sure what I'm doing next but I am planning to leave the crafted stuff until the end hoping to get my crafting skills high enough. If not anyone out there on Thelanis mind helping m e get some of these items crafted...I don't have much plat wise (somewhere between 30-100k depending on whats in my other characters) but I do have some things of value (Larges, Tome pages,etc.) on my main (he's only lvl 2...just TRed) if we could work some things out...the first thing I would want is the Acid Burst repeater of vampirism.
