    Default Druid animal forms and melee die increase

    Few questions before i roll a Druid.

    Do effects that increase monk unarmed attacks increase Druid Animal form attacks.

    For example:
    Monk Active Past Life
    Reinforced Fists
    GMoF: Dance of Flowers
    GMoF: Dancing with Flames

    Do ToD Ring Effects Apply to Animal Form attacks (Holy Burst, Acid Burst ect.)

    Past life on mine was barb rather than monk so I cannot confirm die step increase from past life feat.
    It should do as it would now increase the x[W] prefix rather than the old system.

    Yes,almost everthing works but the stacking mecanic is a little buggy...

    I did some tests on live without monk lvls here the results:


    Druid+tier 3 dance with flowers= 2.5(d10)
    Druid+reinforced+DwF= 2.5(1d6)
    Druid+DwF+Monk past life= 2.5(1d6)
    Druid+DwF+monk past life+reinforced=3.0(1d6) w-t-f?

    And yeah tod burst effects work in form.

    Should be on the known issues list, druid unarmed doesn't play nicely with monk unarmed with the change to monk die steps. When you take past life without monk levels, it upgrades you from 1d3 to 1d6. I'm really hoping they change this soon.

    Easiest solution I can think of would convert winter wolf to 1.5 d6, dire bear 2d6, and just use the monk unarmed system. That way things would stack, winterwolf damage would be slightly nerfed (1-10, 5.5avg to 2-9, still 5.5 avg), but i'm assuming they wouldn't buff us :-/ ...

    Also... I don't know if it's WAI but if you equip 2 weapons that have different damage procs (like an acid burst dagger and flaming burst dagger), in animal form, only one of them is applied. I have an icy burst/shocking burst winter games upgraded weapon and will test that once i'm high enough level to use it.

    Animals don't TWF: they are S&B. It's true! Your second weapon is wasted unless it's got some shared bonus like Seeker or AC (and in that case, you can probably get a shield that's better).

    From what I can tell on my new Druid, currently 9 Druid/4 Barbarian and wearing Garments of Equilibrium, it is not effecting the Animal Form die step. I've tested this with both S&B, THF and Handwraps, while trying multiple combinations of swaping gear and changing form.

    Anyone know if the increased die step effects are only working on Drunks?(Druid/Monks)

    From what i can tell from xapanelis 's post either reinforced fist or monk past life only downgrades your damage dice from 1d10 to 1d6 instead of stacking with the animal form dice, and only if you have both do you get an increase

    If would suspect a drd/mnk would already get downgraded to 1d6 from the monk levels so an added monk past life or reinforced fist would start adding to the unarmed dice, but they were supposed to fix the downgrade in the latest patch, maybe they just fixed the 1d6 part without fixing the stacking
