Who's luck is worse?

In one of the threads yesterday, Tolero cried about her luck with loot.

Tolero: Well this part is impossible for me to pull off because my loot luck is implausibly bad. I never get the decent stuff. *sigh*

I was pleasantly surprised she decided that was a good idea. So the agreed upon chest to loot for this challenge was the Mama dragon of Mired in Kobolds protected red chest. (normally it is a heroic lvl 13, but we did it on hard. so what? 14?)



This was my pull. A min lvl 10, piece of junk, no race requirement. Oh well, at least it was a weapon as you can't really disjunct it for many crafting parts being only an... arcane 2? So more gold compared to everything else when selling. Not even a scale out of that chest. Typical.

So, Tolero, what was your luck like? Better or worse than my own?

Never mind the loot, the update wasn't kind to your character. I know my graphics are set to low but that looks more pixelated than normal.

Have you filed a bug report? I doubt that's a know issue.

You can eventually TR into something that can use a docent, be it on you or a metal mutt.

Nothing fixes a non-repeating crossbow.

Beyond that, Tolero, you need to TR your character(s). My loot luck seemed to change for the better after I true-reincarnated. Recently, I pulled Gilvaenor's Ring to complete the Arcane Archer loot, and pulled a few +3 tomes from end-reward completions.

Prior to that, I could never seem to pull decent loot, and much of my (randomly generated) loot from my first life were obtained through the auction house.

I am guessing the toon is pixilated so that the toon is not recognizable.

Can you imagine working for Turbine and having someone figure out who your toon is.

Another perk about TR'ing is that if you're constantly finding you get bound raid loot on the wrong characters, just TR them all to match their loot.

Doesn't solve my problem with getting handwraps when I haven't bought monk and probably never will as I only have 2 hands with 5 fingers each...I've heard that's a problem for monk players.

That is true... we never did decide loot useful for account or for character. Level 6 cleric has some nice stuff that use components and we are both penny pinchers.

But between the two, I think you do have me beat, but very close.

Since Missing is my husband, I have to vote for him. After all it's him that I get to listen to about how crappy his loot is compared to everybody else.

Hey tolero, why don't you ask your lootmaster why wizardry/power/magi ratio to other suffixes on bows and crossbows seems way off. After u14 I've pulled ridicious amounts of those.

A heavy crossbow is of less use than a magecraft docent. Missing Minds wins, with the poorer loot pull.

While the non-repeating xbow is very bad, MM got more money rewards, and Wizardry II can be deconstructed to level 3 arcane essences.

Tolero loot, while not usable for being a docent, is a ML 10 magecraft +5 docent. The best random docent that can drop around this level for AC only. You can find a buyer for this on the AH.

So, I say MM won as the worst puller this time.

I think, however, that this deserve at least a worst-of-five loot check. The one who pull worse 3 times, win.

Both unlucky, but Missing wins even though he got more money in the chest... non-repeating xbow is like an insult to anyone wanting any gear whatsoever. Insult!
