So I am looking for an experienced player willing to show me some things and improve my skills in game. I have always been more of a powergamer but due to real life issues I have a casual playtime I usually play tuesdays and thuradays 7pm-10pm and saturdays I don't work 7-10 am/pm with a break in the middle(all central time)
as my play time is limited I would like to make the most of it I've been happy to pug along and have a guild that frequently outlevels me. I prefer to be somewhere in between zerg and rose sniffing if any are interested send me a pm here with any questions.

First off, you show promise by asking for help, and wanting to improve.

I have strange play times, but if you see any of the toons in my sig on feel free to shoot me a tell w/any questions. My lowest lvl toon is 18 right now, but I might TR soon if you were looking for tips/help with specific quests.

Also look for Tobril in game and on the forums. He often runs raid training and is a solid player, and a nice guy.

Also doing some independent research helped me allot when I started. www.ddowiki.com is the best resource for this game, puzzle guides, quest and character tips and more. Information is power

Also check out www.ddocast.com if you are into podcasts. They still do a great job there, but the older episodes are jam-packed with great tips.

RThanks for the posts so far.

Part of my problem so far is that since I only play a few hours at a time I don't want to wait around so my main is a valiance build so I can solo when need be which was fine till I hit mid levels I used a stone of XP to get to 16 and currently sit at 17 and 3 bubbles. been pretty nice so far but as I don't know many quests I have run into a few issues when soloing. as far as pugging goes probably about the same as everyone else there are good and bad pugs good ones are awsome bad ones can cost me resources that sometimes are a bit costly for me. as I only have 14 cleric levels I end to go thru scrolls to assist with healing in pugs that scatter alot.

I have found that my most fun classes to play are healers and bards haven't done too much with druids yet but I do have one at 5 I believe been fun so far..

Hey in guild with Kages and I run TR's all the time. I just hit 14 and am running desert but moving to GH here soon. I TR every 10 days or so right now and am always looking for competent people to run with. I am on Tehgambit the most so catch me on here or in game on that toon whenever and I can learn you what I know so far....

Thanks mmgambit I will have to look you up then. I just hit 18 over the weekend and I'm one quest shy of shroud flagged atm. was an interesting couple of.groups for sure lol. My original plan was to keep my main parked at 20 or possibly take him to 25 but I'm really leaning on TRing him now to open up some extra skill points etc. I have had some real luck due mostly to some of the posts in this thread and some decent pugs have taught me a bit too.

one thing I learned saturday while running vale is that sometimes I can find and disable traps where the wiz/rog couldn't, was a little suprised at that one. got some nice moments in that group since the squishy cleric did the traps and was able to keep everyone alive and never drip below 50%ish health lol.

just out of curiosity do you use TP or epic tokens to TR?

My main is currently sitting at 18. :P He'll be there for a bit, regardless of having almost enough XP for 19. Not taking 19 till I have enough xp for 20. XD I'd be willing to help you out some if you'd like. Kobay is the name. I'm almost always on at least once a day. Tobril's Defense channel is also a good group to join up with. I'd highly recommend it.

Defense has been pretty active lately, you should be able to
find some decent people to play with in there.

If you ever see a LFM put up by Samulas do whatever it takes
to get in and make his acquaintance. He is by far the best
leader/teacher on the server.
