Fatesinger Broke

If my math is correct I don't believe the Fatesinger lvl 0 passive is working by adding new songs. I have 26 prior to selecting Fatesinger and 30 after (lvl 5 FS) where I had 42 prior to the update. While playing with this bug on Lam (report was submitted) I believe it was dirge disabling it (a single point in dirge would shut off the ability).

Can anyone else confirm?

It is worse for me at the moment. I have a level 3 fatesinger. When I logged on, she only had 13 song usages. If I clear my destiny tree I get 25 (If I invest all my points it goes up to 27) total but the moment I choose an active ability from the tree I go down to 13. It really makes my character unplayable.






Add: I have tried both Dirge and Reign. It seems like any active ability does it. I have bugged it BTW.

bard level -4 is how many songs we're loosing

it seems we loose the songs from fatesinger when we select the active perks including any you might twist out (dirge, sirens song, reign), the passive and stance perks all seem to be fine,

My lvl 22 bard with 3 tiers of fatesinger has gone from 27 to 16 songs (he has 15 bard levels).

I have 1 tier of Lucidity, and 3 tiers of Allure.

It appears i have lost the passive 2 songs per tier from Fatesingers Reportoire, as well as the 3 songs from Allure, but am still getting the one song from Lucidity?

It's the only way i can arrive at 16 songs now instead of my previous total.

I have tiers in Dirge, though i can't recall how many at the moment.

I have submitted a ticket regarding the above with all character details so i'm hoping this comes to the attention of the 'creators' as quickly as possible - coming right on with the not so nice change to the bard epic feat - yes feat, not enhancement, not destiny point - but something you had to burn a feat for........you all know what i'm talking about, this is a doublestrike at the poor misunderstood bards of Eberron and Eveningstar, sigh.

We've already gotten some bug reports on this, it's under investigation. Bard & Fatesinger appear to not be playing nice after an attempt to fix a different error, sorry about that.

I'm glad to read that it is a bug and not a nerf.

Hopefully it's fixed soon since I finally finished all of my ED grinding last night for twists of fate and finally made it back to fatesinger. Makes me sad to loose 13 songs.

I logged onto my 16Bard/2Ftr/2Rog, Legendary Dreadnought today, and she only has 4 songs. Fantastic.

So, it's not just Fatesinger, as I've been working on Dreadnought since before the update.

I just went to report the bug, and the bug report form is not working. Get it together, Turbine.

You may want to check your twists. It seems to bug when you select any of the active abilities in the Fatesinger tree (like Dirge or Reign). If you have any of those twisted and remove them, you may get all your songs back.

If that doesn't work then I have no idea. Sorry

Bard 16 ranger 2 rogue 2, Shiradi destiny/Unyielding/Fury all songs intact, it really seems to affect Fatesinger only.

Well, Blasting Chime has never worked as far as I know.

I'm sure it use to. Hell, I had folks comment about why my cleric had an anthem item on...

I know it worked on my bard, as I was song-happy. It might be specific to fate singers that its borked, but somehow, somewhere, by bard's is borked, and borked in a way it wasn't. Hence the request for confirmation.

Yeah I was wondering why I had LESS songs as a fatesinger. Though doesn't hurt me to bad just puts me at 1 less song after the fact

Anthem on the epic top tier trinket didnt work from day one, I have this confirmation message from a bug report I sent in March 2012: "Thank you for contacting Turbine with your commentary, "#86960: OTHER: Epic Blasting Chime Anthem not working". We value our player's input and appreciate your reports and suggestions.... Thank you for your submission. We are aware of the issue which you have reported to us. Please keep an eye...."

Then with one of the recent updates, think it was 14 it did work, so if it isnt working then its broken again... Ill test tonight. As far as I know it has always worked on the elyd edge and the cloak from the plaza chain.
