Outbreak Bugged Too?

Going to submit a bug report, but just ran the first quest on my level 18 paladin. And then on my 20/3 Wizard. Paladin was on Herioc Normal, and Wizard was Epic Casual. Ran just fine on my paladin. But after running with my Wizard quest wouldn't finish.
Will avoid specifics here to keep out spoilers. Killed end boss and adds. Guy makes his statement(meaning I should be done) Gave me the chest and let me loot it, but no xp and quest didn't flag as complete, as it still was giving me the option to recall and got the pop up that quest wasn't done yet. Anyone else had issue yet?

Yes, quest is not completable as of current, at least not on any of my attempts. Fantastic job, Turbine.

edit: Same issue as you, all objectives finished but quest doesn't complete.

What I don't get is why on heroic it completed just fine. On my level 18 paladin it completed just like it was supposed to.

Maybe it's the Epic Casual that's doing it? Wonder if all of the new ones are like that? Might just have to try just to see.

Actually I did it (as in, failed to get quest completion despite finishing it) on Epic Hard. So assumably it'd affect all epic difficulties.

^ Or I guess not. Seems random then.

Hmm, interesting. I'll have to try sending the bug report again, as it timed out while trying to send it. Will have to add above information to it this time.

Our team tried two times on epic Hard. Both times it wasn't completable.

Did it epic hard, without any issues.

Outbreak can be completed by using the following steps in this order only

Dialogue npc, get key

Do left side first

Do right side next

Dialogue npc

Do optional

Then take d door to finish quest

This has worked every time

Yup, Amnota got it.

You *HAVE* to do it in this order: left side, then right side, speak with npc, middle door, then ddoor.

If you start with the right side it doesn't complete.

I did it Epic Normal, and did Right side first, and had no problems. Other than starting with right, I believe I did the rest of the steps in that order (can't recall offhand now.)

My epic hard completion was also starting with right. Don't think we did any optionals.

Just ran it twice on heroic normal with level 18 favored soul.

1st run --- bugged out with no completion

Right door first
Tried to use stone on a patient (failed with a 17 heal skill)
Left door second
Unlocked middle door but could not unlock door at top of stairs (no bell of opening or rogue hireling)
Took dimension door, shrined, and killed boss
Looted chest
Ran around in circles like a freak looking for what I missed


2nd run --- got completion

Attempted no optionals
Left door first
Right door second
Unlocked middle door but could not unlock door at top of stairs (no bell of opening or rogue hireling)
Took dimension door, shrined, and killed boss
Got completion and xp
Looted chest

Make sure to get the boss objective before KILLING him. i had this problem on lammania. did it right after doing what i just said 0 issue. So make sure you get it started first.

Hmmm... now that you mention that, I recall that in my first attempt of the quest that ended up failing, the boss came up to me while I was still slowly creeping down the stairs. I fought and killed him right there on the stairs.

On my second attempt, since I knew what was coming, I ran all the way down the stairs and fought him and his minions down by the chest.

Maybe thats what happened... I didn't get the boss objective yet on the first attempt.
