Bad news. Rings have been fixed. My ring is still for sale if you want but they now only have the following stats:

Not bad at all, though I thought the Dream Ring had +2 exceptional Con/Str to make up for the lost ToD ring, since Con 7 is on Abashai Cloak :P

Nah I'd never lose the TOD ring.. rely on it so much. Was thinking of ditching manslayer ring and taking the drow goggles to cover the manslayer loss.. But too much hassle to regear overall so I thought I'd put it up for sale to see what offers I get.

Have you seen the new cloaks in the latest update? The wolf or bear cloak kick the **** outta the abashai cloak. All it has going for it is the set at this point. You can get +7 or +8 so many ways.

Envenomed Cloak is last season's model. It's nice for leveling from 20-23, but at cap, there are better options.

• Adamantine Cloak of the Bear - Sheltering +9, Protection +7, Ex Combat Mastery +6, Incite +20%
• Adamantine Cloak of the Wolf - Exceptional Seeker +5, Dodge 4%, Attack Bonus +4, Diversion 20%

Those are very nice... but the Envenomed cloak has +7 CON, +5 resist, and a GREEN SLOT.

My tank who could use sheltering and protection doesn't use tactics, and he already has Incite +20%. When he's in DPS mode, the wolf cloak would be nice, but just for the exceptional seeker. He already has 4% dodge, and a good attack bonus.

So there's really only 1-2 things on each of those cloaks that I'd love to have... +7 CON, +5 resist, and a green slot can still compete.

(Plus, there's the whole cascading effect whenever you replace an item in one slot... next thing you know you have to move around 5 other items to make it all work).

Depends alot on your build. For a caster/monk with +6 Resists on their new armor, then chrono cloak is probably not as important any more. Especially with CON+7 on the Sun Soul belt.

For tanks it's not so easy. Neither of the new heavy or light armor options give resists. Plus the Helm of Frost is still the best CHA+7 option with a YELLOW slot. If the Dodge was swapped on to the tank slot - free up ring slot for stalker+TOD ring - then it would be a no-brained.

Personally I think the Envenomed cloak is still an important item option.

If that is a seal of dun ring the stats won't stay they already stated it is the works so in reality it's a +7 con/ except combat/ doge4 ring.

Bard? Who gears out a bard? All they do is play songs every 5 minutes and pike in between. But maybe I'm just jaded from running with Hordo for so long....

New Content Armor, Planar Focus, Dun'Robar Ring, and the Claw Set set items give you 4 easy sources for +7/+8 STR and CON and +2/+3 Insightful STR and CON. So you can have all 4. If you use the cloak then you either have a redundant slot of +7 Con or get your armor or planar focus with Dex on it (Which are more easy to come by). I'm not saying it is worthless, just that it used to be the clear best choice for the slot for the marjority of builds and now it's much less of a sure thing.

Don't get me wrong, I like that there are so many options and ways to gear out now. I think it makes it very hard to say what the ideal Dun'Robar ring is or what the ideal "anything" is. The randomzation of the stat items and suffixes on the gear makes it much harder to create a single optimal configuration.

Since this is a trade thread, I will add that the ring is a sweet one. I'd do 2 reds for it if there is not already a higher bid.

I don't sing songs for anyone but myself unless it is a raid, and even then, it's sing on the run and refresh when I need it. If someone else gets them, awesome, otherwise, I'm DPSing/Healing

on easier content no biggy. But if you play like this in EE raids or the longer harder EH ones, you sound like a TERRIBLE bard.
