Question about new raid bypass item

How does the hourglass work, has anyone tested that on lama. Are there any limitations, like cooldown, usage per raid etc.

I asked the same question in one of the feedback threads but it probably got buried under p2w discussions or nobody knows the answer.

im assuming with what i read it acts like a timer like the difficulty unlock items. you have so much time to reset it before the item wears off.
