    Yes

But not for the reasons you think. I have no plans to use this feature but you never know, plans do change. Its an option that may prove useful in various situations. There is a penalty for abusing it in the form of cash spent.

Really guys, Im not crazy about the idea but I dont see it as being game breaking for anyone.

If you really want to vote on whether it should be in the store or not, the best way to do it is to:

    - buy the feature and say "yes" I like this and want more options like it.

    Or

    - dont buy it and say "no" I dont like where the game is going, I want no part of it.

I vote yes, not for me but for those who want to use it. They should have the option to run any quest they want as often as they want. Waiting 3 days in hopes of one specific drop is more than time consuming, sometimes its down right frustrating.

    Yes.

I may even buy one some day if my friends are running a raid that I want to run on a particular character who is still on timer.

But I don't see buying more than one a year... if that.

    No.

I would totallydont mind if there was no raid timer at all, or it was shorter (like 22h).
However here is a design of: "lets make something annoying so ppl will normaly waste time on it" and then
"lets make a shop item to bypass annoying feature".
So basicly the game design serve the sell purpose not making game more enjoyable in vanilia state.
The next step will be "lets lower riduculous low drop rates even lower, so it become even more grindy". Not sure if i want to wait for that.
    One more step to /playlessandonlyranger.

    Yes.

Actually, more on "meh" side. If someone wants to grind 20 completions in one day, the ransack mechanic will hit him hard (quest completions can ALSO be ransacked, not only chests), and the convenience part will help everyone that find themselves forgetting to turn the raid to que quest giver, and noticing that he is the only one out of a guild raid because of this.

If they were selling "guaranteed raid loot tickets" (If the chest has chance of a named loot, it will have one), then I'll be against it. Only to run the same raid again and again is hardly game-breaker.

Raid timers are there to extend the lifetime of an endgame raid, not as a balance mechanism.

I want DDO to be a better game. Those are my personal suggestions on: Ammunition, Archmage, Combat Stances, Deities, Dispel Magic, Epic Destiny Map, Fast Healing, Favor, Favored Enemy, Half-elf Enhancements, Monk Kensai, Monk Stances, Past Life, Potency, Potions, Ranger Spells, Summons, Tiered Loot.

Turbine should not break existing game mechanics just to turn a profit. To me it indicates they are failing in terms of revenue generation from content. Which kind of worries me.

Yes. Chest still ransack and 20th reward doesn't guarantee drop. Also might promote more raid pugs.

Raid still require more than 1 person he still needs to get more people to join.

    Yes.

There's a lot of hypocrisy coming from players who buy 'conveniences' already from the DDO store. Whatever.

I'll vote yes, despite not liking them, in the hopes it means more raids in LFMs.

It is primarily a mechanic for subscription MMOs to keep people subscribed for longer. If you could hit end game and experience it in one week, what reason would you have to keep paying for the game? This is little more than a method to increase the duration of subscriptions.

Yes, though my preference would be to remove them altogether.

Aye it has nothing to do with balance and quite frankly does the opposite of "balancing" things out right now. As to the subscription thing yes back when it was p2p only it made sense to have raid timers but its no longer only p2p n im thinking it's not the subs that are bringing much of the cash as such timers shouldn't even be around anymore.

    Yes.

I won't buy one, and hate the idea of them. However, if somebody really wants to spend their money on one - why not? The inclusion of these things really won't have an impact on my day-to-day, so I really couldn't care less.

In fact, I'm kinda gleefully awaiting the "I spent x-amount-of-dollars on hourglasses, and didn't get what I wanted in the raid or on the 20th completion list! I got ripped off!!!" posts probably more then I should. Those will be fun.

I don't care if others buy one or not.

People will either farm out and take 60 days to get my 20th or I'll knock it out in a few weekends. I don't care how they get their stuff, it isn't going to effect me. There will still be people that don't care to use them anyway.

    I'll say yes.
