I hate going to the northeast side of the map for just that reason. Hate it, mephits too, if they split you don't get credit for the second one.

Wait, WHAT???.
I thought they already DID count twice! Did this change somewhere along the lines? It's been a little while since I was on the east side of the Orchard but I seem to recall those baddies counting as two kills.
If this got changed it needs to get changed back NOW! If it's not in effect it needs to be implemented NOW! It's completely unfair that we have to kill a bad guy twice but it only counts once.

Always been that way. I avoid that side of the Orchard once I've gotten the rares over there because twice the work for half the score is just pointless.

P.S., fairly sure there is a spell that stops this. Never tried it though.
